Currys are full of it. Just compared some tvs and they’re cheaper at Richer Sounds. So much for not finding anything cheaper elsewhere.

May be they don't think Richer Sounds as 'major retailer' lol

Currys must only think of themselves as being a “major retailer” then in that case.

Exceptionally frustrating when you're after a particular product and the price actually goes up for the sales, or the 10% off code doesn't apply to the model you want. GRRRHHH!
I dream of being rich enough to shop in a Currys sale..

You sure it's not just the warehouse closing down.

During Black Friday they considered Poundland and Harrods for their price matching, given curry’s bad customer service and refusal to pay cash back, I think they rely on stupidity.

They picked the top 50 retailers in UK and price matched them but quiet a lot of retailers don’t sell electronics.
Some item is actually cheaper than other place like a few of the sound bar tho
SCS of the tech world 365 days a year sale.
Currys and sale dont go together
From. Somebody who worked for curry's for two years they never do a sale they do a putting priced back to normal time. After the so called sale they raise prices back to way over Rrp so they can reduce them again to 'sale' prices come the next sale. They get away with it well as they have exclusive models and colours etc.. So you cannot price compare on most stuff.

Probably not the only one, some of these retailers really take the Micky. Found out about curry's "exclusive" models and model numbers when comparing TV's a few years back, effectively the same TV's with a couple of different letters in the model number.
Where's the deal? Or should I just go look for myself? These "sale" post are the laziest things ive ever seen on this site.

Here's my version. 70% sale at The Officers Club... Do I get heat please?

Yep same with white goods, it's so you cannot price match as the models are 'exclusive' to them. Which is a load of lies.
