wow money to burn!

When released this TV was the best part of £1500-1600. Even when What HiFi reviewed it back in September it was £1500.

This isn't a budget screen, it is the top of the range samsung Flat Screen. It also now comes with a £300 UHD BluRay player. if this isn't a deal I don't know what is.

Great Find possible 11% quidco today also!!!

We got this a few weeks ago as part of a replacement deal after our previous model broke. Advertised at £1,500, we were mixed between this and the Sony - Ended up choosing this after being convinced by the demo content. TV is ok, but in all honesty it's nowhere as good as the demo quality on HD and doesn't handle blacks that well. Decent TV, but not convinced it's worth the ££, even with all of the innovative marketing words used by Samsung.

I think it's all down to view distance as well of as picture configuration.

I believe that all tvs on show go through a color balance and picture configuration to make them look the best they can.
Also, one thing that put me of from 4k, is that when you check these tvs out in stores you're standing 2 feet away which shows you the crisp detail of 4k.

My tv is across the room from me,roughly 9 feet. I'd need a 70" display to benefit from the 4k detail at this distance.

It could just be that your tv is set to the factory picture and color settings and is outside the distance to show off 4k.

Quidco 10% is only on selected Samsung models which this isn't one of. So would only be 1%

Quidco says 11% on all purchases over £249. How can I confirm the 11% rate?

If you click through that link on quidco it will take you to the TV's that are in the offer. It's about 5 or 6 and most are tiny. I think it's just there to confuse people and.make them think the rest are 11% off also.

10% off code has expired today.....or been pulled. Tried to get JL to pricematch yesterday, but this morning the offer has gone, so they won't honour it.
