Currys selling Garmin Vivoactive GPS fitness smartwatch £61.97

Found 10th Mar 2017
Curry's are clearing out their Garmin Vivoactive watches. Cheapest I can find this online is around £130 and Garmin are still selling it for £189.99! I know it's not a "proper smartwatch" but it has basic smart watch features and with GPS and the other fitness and lifestyle tracking apps it's a bargain at this price. Portsmouth have none left as I bought the last two and it's a store only deal. Maybe in stock in your area.

That might be the one with heart rate monitor. The vivoactive HR.

Yes, although I thought this clearance one had HR too? It was the only Vivoactive one they had, the same as the one on the website.
It's the non HR version, but it has GPS so ideal for cycling, garmin app syncs well th strava really well, and never fails like iPhones tend to.
Also can add any Ant+ or Bluetooth Heart rate monitor and this will work. Buy them cheap as chips online.
Can confirm that this is real, i got one in Beckton today. Very happy.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a HR chest strap that i could use for bike rides? Thanks
If you Google ant+ heart rate monitor strap you should find a decent one.
Thanks so much OP, I got one today (03/04/2017) in Currys Weston-super-Mare.
My local store in Yeovil didn't have any, so I asked the guy in store to check stock nearby and it showed that W-s-M had one. I rung the store fully expecting a wild goose chase and spoke to a lady who dutifully went off to have a look and came back saying she'd found it and would put it aside for me to collect that evening.
So 2 hours and an 80 mile round trip later and I have my Vivoactive!
Even adding the £10ish it cost me in fuel, it's still a cracking price for a very decent smartwatch.
My wife has had hers for a couple of years now and it's been great, it's never missed tracking a run/cycle/swim, the battery life is very decent and she loves being able to see her messages and calls without getting her phone out her pocket.
Sorry for the long post, but I hardly ever have any luck with these store specific deals so I'm really chuffed about this one.
Thanks again schall81 for posting your find!
