Had one of these, catch broke far too quickly. Won't but again, even at this bargain price.

Yep bad quality product l wouldn't recommend , price is no bargain either.

£14.49 seems a good price to me!

£14.49 seems a good price to me!

He didnt like my comment on his post and has decided to be rather blatent in performing some sort of school yard retaliation.

Got one of these last year, lasted two months, if there was a prize for thinnest ever rolled steel these would win hands down, had to put it where there was no chance of anything touching and denting it, then, after two monts it just .... sprung apart ... became a semi round piece of thin tin sheet. Save your money

I've had this bin for over 2 years and it still works fine, there's better out there but it's a good buy at this price!

No, sorry for the confusion, its at the poster just before you, it seemed you was countering his sentiment of it being rubbish price, so i was just explaining to you why he has that opinion.

Sorry Sawb, i happened to think that may have been the case so deleted my comment. seems you caught it just before.

So thin its plastic?
Lol.

This bin is made from genuine plastic and doesn't dent.

As for people saying the catch breaks? HOW?

We've had this over a year now and it gets hammered. Luckily our kids put their rubbish in the bin, but equally they can be rough opening it up.

It cleans well and still looks decent and for £15 I can't see a better bin anywhere.

Go buy it.

Are you for real ??. ...

I have "that opinion" as I have had this bin and thought it was a waste of money and I want to warm others to stay clear.

I had this bin delivered a week ago. I like the fact that it doesn’t leave smears, marks and doesn’t require constant polishing through the day on the outer bin but that it still gives that shiny metal effect even though it’s plastic.

It does also come with a 5 year warranty so if catch does snap off I’m sure Amazon will replace. Also if you read q&a others too have mentioned catch snapping off but curver send out a replacement.

This one is made of plastic.

Had one of these for a year now and it’s been fine as a kitchen bin - catch works okay. As mentioned above there’s a 5 yr warranty.

Went through 2 of these and lids broke both times and stayed upright. Had to use a shoe in the interim to keep the lid down until I got another.

Ordered, thanks OP. Have some heat!
