Got it a few weeks ago. Good deal.
Average price is £21.43 so not a massive saving
Got this from Argos at the weekend for the same price. Down from £29.99.
I have this one, it's not great. It can be a massive chew on to remove bags, even if you're careful not to overfill. You have to wriggle them side to side to let the air escape from the bottom, and it's hard to get over the lip without catching it or ripping the bag (due to the wriggling).

May just drill a hole near the bottom to let the trapped air out....which probably would solve the problem... but really, you shouldn't have to do this, it's a bin... it has one function. On the plus side, it looks alright and the locking mechanism is still going strong a year later.

I think most small bins have the trapped air problem
I bought this bin in black a couple of years ago and it still looks good and closes fine. I would recommend it.

That may well be. But with other normal bins, you can take the whole top compartment off to give yourself wiggle room. With this one, the lid stays at an angle (it only goes up so high), and the locking mechanism rim + lid give you less wriggle room.
Don't understand why people buy touch bins - pedal bins are so much more hygienic.

Mine is soooo easy to change, I've lived alone for twenty odd years and by far easiest bin I've had
Thanks op. Just ordered one to replace the same we had for 3 years. Lid broke. Good bin with no issues removing bags as mentioned by others.

Are you sure it's definitely this one and not a similar model?
Had one of these for years, good quality.

I have this bin and had the same problem. I drilled a few holes in the base and it has made it much easier.
Same issue.... but then when something spills, comes out of the bottom.

Best bet drill it at the back about an inch from the bottom.

Aww bless them. Mine used to like destroying the boxes when they were little.

I hope you got your money back.
