Lid on this is annoying as it does not detach completely making it difficult to empty (we use it as a paper recycling bin). Wouldn't buy again.

Also despite its looks it is plastic not metal.

Curver supports Zionist. No thanks

What does zionist have to with anything?

Could still be useful, you could hold it to your ear and people would think you've got an HTC phone.

Look it up if your interested. But I won't be supporting a company who gives money to these causes.

We have this bin and the lid definitely comes off entirely, it's really easy to clean and unlike the last one I had isn't going rusty!

Zionists are terrorists who kill innocent babies with funding from companies like curver..no need to look it up now!!

So pretty much the same as paying taxes in this country then.

Voted hot. Seems a good deal. Much more on Amazon. Got some staff discount on the top too and free delivery to home if you have delivery saver.

Voted hot. I have had this for over a year. No problems. And it's a good price as I paid £23 in B&Q

I have this - the springs for the lid always come out and are a complete PITA to put back in
Personally I wouldn't buy again
The lid does however come off entirely and its easy to clean and get bags out etc...
Think it was £10 at Morrisons in the summer when I bought it so not the cheapest here

I too got this in Morrison's for a tenner but it is a very good bin IMHO. The hoop that holds the bag in place is a clever touch.

As for Zionism. Well I did go and do some research purely because I think just posting such an inflammatory comment as "they support Zionism" would warrant posting a source.

Apparently the Keter group parent company has factories in occupied land etc.

But the list of companies that one shouldn't support, according to the 'Boycott Israel' campaign is so vast and varied that I'm afraid half the deals on here qualify.

Got the black one from Debenhams when it was on here Oct/Nov. At 40L it's not the biggest but the hoop mechanism to hold the bags is clever.

Saw these in store yesterday and they definitely are and look like metal. Looked pretty good quality to be honest and a good size, if I didn't already have a bin I would buy this no question

Yeah and in their spare time they are busy providing the world with many products that those that shout loudest against them are perfectly happy to use because it suits.

I suggest you don your fatigues, and stand along side the wonderful Hamas that has done so much for the population that can't get rid of them.

Or of course just don't buy that bin.

Lid is a bit fragile but it has a 5 year warranty and they replace the whole lid. Just sent them an email.

Thanks, just what I needed. Purchased.

Heat added!

Will have to make a point of buying something made by Curver in the future. Not this bin though since we just bought one like it.

Thanks for that, mate, I was about to grab my coat and go get one.

Zaky_ice - was planning on getting a peddle bin but bought this on the back of your comment - thanks. I'm supporting the only democracy in the middle east, where people, including muslims, have a better standard of life than in many Arab countries (which have in fact practiced the most extreme forms of torture and ethnic cleansing known to man). If the manufacturer of the bin does support Israel, this is support for democracy over Hamas terrorism - the same Islamist terrorism that threatens the rest of the civilised world. If you want to boycot anything to do with Israel I presume you will be boycotting everything that Israel has contributed to the world, including numerous medical treatments, mobile technology (which presumably means you won't have access to this website vis smart phone or PC). Off to pick up my bin now feeling good that I have supported a worthy cause. youtube.com/wat…sjI

Just absolute gold that a thread about a bin can begin to descend into a discussion about Hamas/Israel.
