You have to cancel in writing and i suggest you do it as soon as you receive first issue as the last time i took this deal they took payment out early and i still am waiting for the refund after loads of emails.

I got the toolkit and it had rust on it believe it or not i would stick with the fan that looks the best option.
Noctua make very good quiet fans. I have one in my PC.
Thanks OP.

To balance this, mine was perfectly fine brand new in plastic covering.

Really handy too.

I cancelled the direct debit via online banking.

Tempting, have any experience cancelling with them?

Loved custom PC, used to have a subscription. Liked looking at the nice components that were way over priced and knowing that i'd never own them.

?? Do they hack in to stop you cancelling? That would be a first!!
I'm not sure about the offer, seems a bit risky, but I shelled out for one of these fans and I'm very happy with it. 1200rpm is just about the right speed to move a decent amount of air without making much noise. Quality is very high, shame about the colour scheme though.

edit: I should say that's a case exhaust fan. Noctua do different fans for heatsinks and radiators, with higher static pressure.

No not to stop cancelling but to rob all your money from your account.

Definitely won't be buying their magazine then
As long as you have a good internet security & anti virus in place you should be fine. Its the key loggers you need to stop.

Just like to say those fans are limited to the first 100 that order, at least that what it says on my email
Think I'll just buy a fan.
I took out 2 subscriptions:D
Thanks
Anyone who want to cancel just pop them an email at custompc@servicehelpline.co.uk. Usually replied the next day.

Hope this helps

I have had two of these subs with CustomPC previously when i was interested in modding, they are great fans and i wished at the time i had ordered several subs with family members because if you dont use the fans, you can sell them £10 or more each !
In my opinion the things aren't worth the stress, also the're possibly a bit morally dubious. Just buy what you need, it is actually a great magazine by the way.

Great magazine, I done a similar offer to this once before and you just phone to cancel after the 3rd issue (before you receive a 4th). Takes 2mins, and you can cancel direct debits online or in branch just in case.
ordered, hopefully ill get my free gift within the month
Good deal, sadly the magazine is one of the worst out there.
Every time I've subscribed to any magazine in the past, I've always just cancelled the DD and they seem to have taken the hint and never contacted me after.

Custom pc is a legitimate business, the fact you need online protection for internet banking is a separate issue.

I take trial subscriptions of custom pc, pc pro and computer shopper all the time and cancel by phone/email then cancel the direct debit using internet banking, quick, easy and safe.
I got the toolkit a few months back and although it looked a bit rubbish I've since found it pretty useful. The magazine however is hit and miss, there's not enough content that's not available (at higher quality) for free online somewhere.
Just cancel the direct debit, you dont have to call them
