Prob just me looks like a ladies watch. Maybe used to the chunkier ones.

lazyfatboy: The capabilities of a watch are not measured in the number of jewels the movement has. No, no, it really isn't. Synthetic rubies are worthless, the number of jewels is irrelevant to the value. However, a higher number of jewels generally correlates with the movement complexity, and that has an obvious impact on price. The value comes from the complexity, engineering, and brand, not the number of jewels.

Lower_for_Longer

Same here. I prefer 25 jewels myself, but heat added regardless.

"Jazzmaster" - why does that make me singger (ninja)

theprofinuk

Fixed thanks.

I love this to the 12. The other size at 42 that doesn't have it annoys me. Tastes I guess.

axgod2

I just don't like Hamilton watches. And this is a particularly ugly one

tempt

Nice watchface, tempting.

Yeah I heard a while back regarding some of the Seiko 5's that they had different movements, but never verified that. And sorry, its not Korea, it's Malaysia or more specifically outside Japan

louiselouise

Never heard it said there's different movements (?) but this subject crops up all the time and nobody really seems to know for definite. What you can say for sure is that the j models are slightly more desirable, resale-wise.

akshay01

Yes, it is now.

akshay01

lol, not really, I am always on a look out for watch deals and have been benefited before by various deals posted on hotukdeals.com, thought this my turn to share for the community.

Fallen1992

Nah wasn’t implying that, just saw the receipt for John Lewis Norwich and thought it was funny (lol)

swayndo

Well it wasnae me. Don't shoot the messenger :o

Fallen1992

That’s the watch that was last one in stock on JLP Norwich. Someone on here saw an opportunity and is running with it lol.

Dekard97

Keep it up! It's great (y)

louiselouise

To be clear, I love Edinburgh and regularly go to Edinburgh Festival :) I meant it was just after New Year, maybe over-eager on my part as it's a bit of a trek, there may have been no stock and I wasn't even sure if return trains would finish early. Boyf finds them really boring. I think I'm the type of person who gets fascinations for a while, so who knows if this will be a long-term one.
