Not bad at all for well regarded phones, usually about £30.

good find op, heat added

I have been using these and the CX300-III for the last 4-5 years. I own about 6 pairs of these and the CX300-3, only one of them has broken. Sound quality is superb, especially the bass. I like to listen to my music at max volume with lots of bass, and the bass has never distorted. You should know that these don't have the volume controls and they have a cord which is on the short side, that goes round the back of the neck. But they sound awesome. I usually get mine on ebay and if they drop to this price I normally order 3 pairs. I'd get these if I didn't already have one still in the box.

Good for the gym?

is it just me or is the stock check not working?

Great headphones

If you like listening to everything at max volume, it's clearly made you deaf to good sound quality because the CX300-IIs are budget earphones. Decent sound quality for £15 or so, but hardly great.

The Ei8htball EX811s for example, have a noticeably richer soundstage and overall noticeably better sound quality. I'd rather spend £15 more and buy 1 or 2 pairs of better sound quality earphones than '6 pairs' of CX300-IIs.

It's ppl like u on this site who make me spend a whole lot of money on things I ultimately don't need! Now anytime the CX300-II gets on my nerves I'm gonna be thinking of these Ei8htballs and I'm gonna have a bee in my bonnet until I try them... Aarrrgh!!

Its only white at this price. You should add this to the title. Black is £44.99.

LOL. I'm a sucker for earphones because I leave them all over the place - in the sports bag, in the car, at work, in the computer bag etc - so don't mind trying various different types and having multiple pairs of them in different locations. The Ei8htballs are probably the best sounding ones for less than £30 IMO, and the Betron RK300s easily the worst in terms of sound quality. The CX300-IIs are somewhere in the middle and have an emphasis on bass. The SoundMagic E10 are also fairly decent (newer E10S is better).

Everyone seems to overrate the E10s! I have them and to me they are 'good' without being anything special. I bought the CX300-II to replace them cos they always fall out of my ears when I'm walking (the original CX300 never did). I remember the CX300 being louder with better bass than E10 and overall just sounding better. Gonna give these CX300-II a whirl and see what I think

I bought these headphones a few years ago,as the white ones were on special offer and reviews fairly positive. I thought they were quite good. So for £16.99 have bought another pair. Thanks OP for posting.

Sennheiser CX300II have been available for a number of years.

These were a hot deal at £18.99 at argos a few weeks ago. Great sound quality from them, but i'm on my 3rd pair in the space of a few months but i do fall asleep with them in sometimes and the wire probably gets pulled on.

Heat added.

Just to add to discussion, I recently got the Sony Z2 phone, and it has noise isolation built in, and came with the NC phones. Been really impressed, great for the tube etc.

Ugh, you need the gym after all that. I'll buy you a pair!

They're good. Nothing more or less. A bit of a rip-off at MSRP, but they're on sale somewhere all the time and they're definitely worth the sale price. I can't believe some places actually try to sell them for £45 though! For that price, I want inline volume control and a braided sheath. (or even ribbons instead of wires - whatever stops the tangle)

Excellent find!!! Ordered a another pair to replace my older cx300II. They have lasted well.

Your hearing will rapidly deteriorate if you continue with what you are doing. And let me tell you, hearing aids are not cool!

6 pairs - how many pairs of ears do you have?!?

Got these, the sound quality is superb. Highly recommended!

Any suggestions for a decent pair which comes with a mic and compatible with an iPhone?

I don't like wearing these at the gym, get a bit of a sweat on and then they fall out of my ears.

Although the sound isn't great I must admit the standard Apple earphones are almost perfect bog standard headphones for everyday usage.

Although the sound with these are superior in every way, great price.

Great earphones. Good price. Hot deal. Nnngh!

I can see what you've done here, you've accidentally confused £15 as being the same as £30, otherwise comparing those two options would make you look a bit silly, what with you're recommendation being twice the price and everything.

Not to worry, now that I've cleared that up.

LOL No, I'm not deaf buddy. You assume too much.

Clearly you missed the fact that these are normally a lot more expensive than £15.

You also fail to understand why I have 6 pairs LOL. Dude you have made so many silly assumptions it's hilarious.

That's a really mature, very well thought-out, intelligent and important question.
No I didn't buy 6 pairs over several years because I own more than one pair of ears. I also didn't own 5 different cars over the last 5 years because I need to drive to five different places at the same time.
I have ears at home.
I have ears at the gym.
I have ears on the train.
I have ears at work.
I have ears when I fly.
I hate it when I forget my headphones.
Are you beginning to understand yet? LOL
