good price but would be good to know what the "cheaped-out-on" components are
    Minstadave's avatar
CPU is a Gen behind. Weird 4x8gb DDR4 so no expansion room. SSD is Gen 3, slow and potentially QLC. (edited)
  4. Halo's avatar
Shame it's Intel and not Ryzen otherwise this would be perfect for me.

Even tempted by the Ryzen version for £3100. The £2800 version looks quite tasty too for that matter... (edited)

Is it powerful enough to play Solitaire and send emails?.
    Minstadave's avatar
Best buy two so you can Solitaire on one and email on the other. Don't want to have any FPS dips whilst playing Solitaire.
  6. Alex_Ham's avatar
    Will it run Crysis ?
    thewrecker7477's avatar
    Now THAT is the question
  7. professor78's avatar
For combined price on paper comparing to build your own, so Heat for non builders.
Unless I have missed it, it would be nice to know detailed specs of Ram, Motherboard, SDD and Power supply, also the 240mm AIO may be pushing it with the i9. (edited)
    kappachin0's avatar
240mm AIO is the minimum, should be fine unless you gonna push it to the limit.
  8. Adam180's avatar
please could you tell me if liquid cpu coolers more quiter than a normal cooler, eg evo 212 cooler?
    kittendoggie's avatar
The 212 has a single fan. A 240 aio has two fans and a pump. On high loads the 240 aio will probably be louder.
  9. AJ10's avatar
Will this run League of Legends?
    Yas_Min's avatar
You could probably play it in a virtual machine inside of another virtual machine on this

Nearly £3k for a gaming rig. Absurd.
    comedychris's avatar
Not when you consider it will probably outperform the ps5, ps6 and be in line with ps7or there abouts, it will last 6-8 years easily, plus have better graphics and run better, also cheaper games than other consoles and it can do work on it, social media, anything you can think of etc so for a long term investment over years it's not a lot, my friends said the same to me about a 2.1k system but they smoke and drink and one goes on sunbeds so actively damage health and spend more than 2k PER YEAR so a lot more in total, for a hobbies people spend many hours a month on aswell as the mentioned other uses it really isn't a lot, don't get me started on the 1k smartphones in comparison haha.

I like gaming, but you've got to REALLY like gaming to spend £2,699 on a gaming PC.
    Minstadave's avatar
Same with all hobbies. The cutting edge comes at great expense. Bikes, hifi, wine. There'll always be someone wanting the absolute best.

There's much more expensive systems than this out there too.
  12. Rob_Yorks's avatar
I can only imagine what Flight Sim will be like. It’s ok but not spectacular on my i5 9 series with 2060 but this should do 4k seamlessly.

Got my Cyberpower in 2019 with a 2070 super. It arrived with a corrupted version of windows 10. Reinstalled and all has been fine since. Although I have upgraded the GPU. Just be aware
  15. Marko69's avatar
Can anyone summarise and clearly articulate why I shouldn’t buy this tomorrow?

I’ve a top spec Alienware R11 a with a 3080 atm but I really like the look of this.
    Halo's avatar
    It’s probably fine.

SSD is a bit low-end, the AIO cooler isn’t great and there’s no future upgrade path on Intel but whether that’s an issue for you is up to you.
  16. MrHove_'s avatar
This is a very good deal. I paid the same price for 3080 build in October.

    Will this play Minecraft
    Yasioo's avatar
Probably not, as people spending so much on equipment, usually are playing different games and are post Minecraft already.

  23. Jaffryera's avatar
Correct me if I'm wrong, but is this system not powerful enough to manifest real bullet holes in your home when playing FPS?
    comedychris's avatar
No!!! But... Just make sure to keep textures below super ultra to be safe
  24. 2PeteShakur's avatar
    wait for 4090 ti!
    comedychris's avatar
5080 will be the same performance, Hodl!!!

This any good for watching YouTube?
    comedychris's avatar
1080p resolution if you make sure no other tabs open.
  27. Banshee22's avatar
    Very nice
I built a new RTX3080/5700X/32GB/2TB NVME rig just 2 months ago,I could go with 4090,but instead I spent the money on the Alienware ultra wide OLED monitor (100% worth it).
the 4090 will eventually be my next upgrade / the only GPU worth upgrading 3080 to imo. (edited)
