This deal was around once before. While there's cheaper laptops and better spec laptops around... there's very little touches this for performance-to-money.

There seems to be a few deals around on RTX 2060 laptops with this sort of spec but... nothing quite as keen for the money as this one.

Full spec for the deal price. Totally able to to be tweaked:

There's a couple of tweaks I'd recommend on this. Not least having the other 8GB 2666 stick for +35ish.
LOTS of better drive options (note the Samsung bundle deals if you pick a drive, most of the "freebies" aren't added by default so be sure to check the ones you can have are included
I cant speak from personal experience as I've never bought anything from them, but I hear bad things about this site. (bad products)
BTW - if anyone DOES know of better spec for the money - feel free to piss on my deal. I'm hunting one myself

Pretty much agree with that. No problem with the 8gb in itself if it was 2 sticks of 4gb, but the extra performance from another 8gb, even if it's gathering dust most of the time is worthwhile
Had a £1500 laptop from these guys, had problems from the moment I turned it on, the support they offered wasn't very good at all. Constantly fobbed off.

I wouldn't recommend them.

just received the 17 inch version today from box.co.uk but with higher specs.
after researching for ages, this is definitely one of the most highly rated gaming laptops in this price range
look up reviews(2019 model though)

This (ty dijital).

The currys one is a 1660ti (about a 980ti in desktop power)
The box one is a 2060 (about a 1070 in desktop power)

The one in the deal is a 2070 which is about a 2060 in desktop power. It's genuinely a LOT of spec for the money as your links prove

I've ended up blagging a decent clevo built one, I7 9750H/2060/500GB 970 evo plus/144hz screen etc for £950 so... can't grumble
A one-off sadly or I'd throw the deal up for it

cmon, spill the beans

950quid for that spec is a great deal!
this cyberpower deal would be great, BUT I've read elsewhere that installing your own OS on this chassis (assuming it to be Linux rather than Windows) is a nightmare, there's a workaround but it sounds like a real pain. otherwise i'd go for this

nearly new, second hand effort from a private seller bout a month old but he'd got a new car and... was more interested in that
