Cybex Solution M-Fix Car Seat Group 2/3 is at a good price from Uber kids with a Trustpilot score of 9.3. Amazon prices are from £150 so its a good price here in this Black Friday deal.

We have the autumn gold colour and it’s fab!!!!

It appears one or two other retailers are selling these at a similar price but I’m not sure about their trust pilot ratings.

Did really well in the crash tests. Heat added. For such a high quality seat it's a good price

reclines?

No reclining function but it has super build quality with an excellent safety rating.

Would I be correct in saying this has a top teather ? As we are after one that is isofix but uses a leg that goes into the footwell.

It ‘reclines’ to match the recline of your vehicle seat, and the back of the headrest (the interior bit of the headrest, where the back of your child’s head is touching the seat) adjusts back slightly to keep a sleeping child’s head up and not falling forward.

This is a high backed booster. They don’t have support legs on them and generally don’t have a top tether either.

This is a really safe seat, I ordered one in Mystic Pink for my 9 year old yesterday from Uber Kids and used the discount code WELK17 to bring the price down to £104.45 (5% discount). I’m sure I’ve bought from Uber Kids before, but I checked out as a ‘Guest’ and the code worked fine.

These are great car seats once the little ones are ready to move up

Thanks OP, this seat scores well in which? testing and is a best buy. Just ordered for my 4 year old.

booster seats for group 2 don't usually recline.
Some 1/2/3 ones can be reclined until the child is 18kg but once you get to the group 2 (18kg+) the use of the recline isn't recommended

It's the group 0/1 carseats have the isofix leg this is the next stage approx age 4-12 depends on weight and height.
There is no leg after 18kg the isofix only holds the seat in place so you don't need to strap it in when the child isn't in it. It's the cars own seatbelt holds the child and the seat in place in an accident.
Though that the isofix stops the seat sliding over the buckle which is a great by itself

I have shortlisted this seat down to this and the Recaro nova 2 booster both are really good.

Cheers for this. I've been considering one recently for my 3 year old (she's not ready for it, but is getting close to it) and at this price I don't mind getting it a few months early.
