excellent seats and great price but beware these are huge! so not suitable if you need to get 3 seats or 2 and an adult side by side.

I have two of these. This is a really low price for this. They have a clip on side impact pad that ales them wide. you can fit 2 with no problems but 3 is a push unless you have very large exec car or mpv.

The Q2 is far better than the other cybex seats, it expands fully both height and width and is still fully enclosed and padded. you don't get that on many cheaper brands or even the cheaper cybex models.

If I had not just bought a m fix as a second car seat I would bu this now....

There's too many 'fix' types from Cybex - so confusing!!! There's one here from Halfords which is slightly different!

Completely agree, you can be left with analysis paralysis trying to decipher between all the different models. Cybex are just one of the many companies guilty of this in fairness. The Pallas M-Fix i believe is a stage 123 seat with the impact cushion for stage1, then it converts to a standard M-fix for stages2/3, the Pallas/Mfix is seen as Cybex's Gold range seat, whilst the Q2 fix is the Platinum range, the only difference i see between the Mfix and the Q2 fix is the Q2fix shoulders expand out as you adjust the height, possibly suiting big kids as the grow, so if your kids are small then perhaps the Mfix will suffice. Both seats have the reclining headrest which has worked a treat with my kids, stop their heads from lolling forward as they nod off, lol!

Excellent thanks for the explanation... Might buy one although I was considering the britax advacfix 2 which is all stages but more expensive... 200+

Been keeping my eye out for this. I guess they're clearing stock as the Q3-fix is coming out which I can't work out the difference other than that 3 is one more than 2...

Yeah, it'll probably be the same colour choice just renamed ie Mars Red is now Intense Red, zzz. I do love how they never rename Autumn Gold though, it's begging to be renamed the red and orange seat. I'm sure if you asked the Cybex facebook team they would try and waffle about the new exciting invisible benefits of the all new Q3!

Apparently the material used is different. More "breathable" so they said

Just been emailed 'confirmation that order #xxx is awaiting stock' whatever that means. It was showing as in stock when I placed the order. Now I see the colour isn't on the site and the remaining ones have gone up to £164.99. Hope they'll honour this.

Hi Scawie, i got an email too saying there was website problems and the item was awaiting stock 7/14 days and to let them know if i still wanted to go ahead with the purchase. To which i replied, "you bet your ass i do at that price" they did reply back saying they'd be in touch once stock arrives. I have confidence they will honour it no problem, they do some good deals, last year i got an M-Fix on clearance as it was the 2015 model (identical to newer 2016 one) for £80!

Anyone had theirs delivered yet?

Haven't heard anything yet, shall contact them tomorrow and post what i hear. That's been almost 2 weeks from ordering, time for an update.

Not heard anything since the initial email.

I called them today and they said the stock is en route to their warehouse and will be shipped out next day as soon as it does. The lady I spoke to said it will be either the end of this week or early next.

Apparently they do not have any stock at all and it's a website "glitch" causing it to show as in stock. They are quick at taking our money but not very quick at resolving their website issue since you can still order it for next day!

Hi all, i got an email reply today...
"Please accept my sincere apologies for the delay, we have been promised by Cybex that our order will be with us by the end of this week, should have been here last week , so apologies, we will of course get in touch as soon as the delivery arrives. "

So hopefully soon, it's a cracking price and worth the wait but can appreciate the frustration and annoyance if you had needed the seat fairly asap.

Still available on their website at a higher price showing in stock!!

I just received a dispatch e-mail hopefully it doesn't come tomorrow! I have it sent to a work address so typical. Thank you for posting OP and good luck everyone else xx

My autumn orange and white one arrived by courier this morning despite not getting a despatch email. Turns out it's a Q3 rather than a Q2 as well
