And if it fails, you can always return it under warranty
No dis. Op.

Just to note, these are from last week's cycle event and will most likely have sold out in most stores.

Saw this add a few hrs ago, needed one soonest so just popped up to our local store, about 10 or so in stock, lots of universal sizes and 2 xxl, bought it.
looks sturdy enough, 3 phase setting for lights, pleased as punch for the price, even bought a set of cycle glasses for a fiver, cant complain, lots and lots of cycle gear inc clothing tools bags light etc,
Thanks for the post

Yes, I also bought a fat ass saddle for the Mrs bike and the hand pump, both good value.

I really don't think a bicycle helmet is a place where you want to scrimp. This could save your life and ultimately you get what you pay for

They all conform to the required safety standards, so chucking a brand name on it and adding a zero to the price doesnt make it safer.

Picked up two of these from our local Aldi last week. I don't know if all stores will still be doing them but the same ones produced for Aldi can be found on eBay for the same price. Worth a look in store though so you can see which of the two sizes fit better.

I got the xxl one for my fat head.

great!! will check later!!

As others have said, they are all safety tested and regulated, the more expensive ones are just lighter, better ventilated, look better and branded.

Yep, any i've paid big money for some products only to be let down by the manufacturer who keep quite about costly production faults which appear all over the internet, then customer services fob you of.
At the end of the day, a fair price for a must have product, should be given away with every cycle purchase regardless...

Agreed and shocking how many you see without, for the sake of a tenner.

Useful (the saddle not your wife)...I bought a bike recently...but it came with no seat affixed (just a steel bit protruding up where one's fat ass would go)...transpires it was a 'ridgeback mountain' bike (meant to be that way?) ...I need to get one of those fat ass saddles.

I have spent hundreds on helmets over the years. for 10 quid its a cracking helmet. its worth a tenner for the light alone which all adds to your overall presence on the road. sure you can spend 150+ on a mint helmet but at the end of the day a kerb is a kerb and a truck is a truck. no helmet can protect you from these. if I didnt think it was safe I wouldnt wear it. spend the money you save on decent lights too which really will save your life. buy one if you can
