Thanks

Don't know why it's getting voted cold. When I started cycling (17 yrs ago) I bought Lidl & Aldi cycling stuff, the socks are great. As are the waterproof breathable jackets. Kept me completely dry in a thunderstorm unlike my Pearl izumi one!! I still wear the socks preference to my "Sock Guy & Rapha" merino wool ones. The other stuff, Jackets, liners etc I have passed down to my children and they have now outgrown them & sold on eBay. They were still as good as new, surprisingly as some of my more very expensive kit fell apart. Give them a try you may be surprised. Your choice. Heat from me :-) Happy cycling :-)

I see the pattern here. You're just posting EVERY single deal that Lidl have on (all separately!). Here's a link to Tesco's special offers (1283 of them). That will increase your post count substantially.

Don't know why people do this, they're NOT deals - this site is for cracking deals NOT to copy and paste items that are always that price in that 'shop'!

D'oh!

Even if she had posted a deal about ALL the cycling deals on at this time, it might have generated a bit of decent heat. This is almost like 5 separate posts for Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Caffeine Free Coke and Cherry Coke, ALL on offer for BOGOF at Sainsburys.

No, you are wrong, I was trying to post deals that may help others, which is a lot more than others bother to do. Seeing as you know so much, could you point me to the way to cancel my membership, I can't seem to find a way to do it?

Away and put the dummy back in. EVERYONE gets criticism from time to time. Deal with it.

Just fyi dianneNE, I personally didn't take your deals to the temperature they are now. That would be several members required to do that. Think that says more than I have.

Well I found it helpful! Thank you.

Carry on dianneNE, I like to see the individual items listed as I use the search for specific things and might miss them if they are lumped under Lidl deals.

My Mother-in-law has just passed away a few hours ago (21:45) so I think I am allowed to be a tad upset. I was trying to distract myself. Now if you wouldnt mind helping ,me close my account i would be grateful, thank you

I find Lidl cycle wear to be good for the price.

OP don't worry about what others say about the way you post, At least you're making the effort. I would prefer a post such as Lidl Cycle Wear available from Thursday.

I've seen on here today various posts for multi packs of ladies undies at Debenhams, Each pack is a different colour, all being voted hot? Doesn't figure, but that's HotUKDeals for you.

Sorry for your loss dianneNE. But I think you should take this as a good indicator of how people feel about getting flooded with deals from one retailer within a short space of time. It's what usually happens when someone does it.

Why would you need to cancel your account? Just don't come on the site.

Thanks for the reminder will add my heat.

As noted posting every offering from a retailer in single deals is rather spam like, plus doing it as one could gain you more heat from the collective offerings.

I don't have the access to do that, you will need to send a PM to Admin or one of the Mods.

You obviously don't know how the likes of Lidl work - they don't have the same deals on all the time. Granted they may come back a couple of times a year at similar price, but they weren't there a couple of weeks ago and I do need some replacement socks etc.

Thanks, OP.

Fail ! These are actual deals that are not available all year round in that shop .

Yes sorry for your loss Dianne , this site is not the best place to be when you are upset .
There are more trolls and computer warriors than ever on here , just got to ignore them .

But that still doesn't make them DEALS, which this site is for, they are always that price when they are in the store - Where is the deal in that then?!

Jeez, it's not difficult!

No, it's not difficult at all for most of us. Just one example, Weetabix choc Minis appear at Lidl about once a year for 99p, always that price when in the store but otherwise never stocked. They are £2.19 most places all year around. Jeez, it's not difficult!

Weetabix choc mini's ... Speaks volumes! oO

Sad sad people on here, i am not near a lidl so this is a good deal to me as i don't know when it's on. Just because you don't think it's a deal doesn't mean i don't. So thankyou dianne and ignore the trolls

If, and I make no apology for saying if again, you mother in law passed away as you say, you really do have my heartfelt sympathy. However, I would never use something like that on here for sympathy, even though I could genuinely blow that right out of the water. If you like, I will pm you and explain what I mean. Again, no intent to upset you was meant so please accept my unreserved apology.

And there's your real argument - because Lidl don't obviously offer what you happen to consider a deal, then it can't be for anyone else either!

I realise this is completely a subjective opinion (as is vrigil'47's), but I happen to think these socks are great (based on previous experience) and when I've looked, similar ones elsewhere are normally more expensive, so when they come back around at Lidl, it's certainly a deal to me. However, as I posted in the other thread, I didn't find the gloves great last time so have not voted those hot.

Disagree, I use Lidl & Aldi for various items and consider a lot of their items value for money.

A deal is where something has been, lets say, on sale for £13.99 and the store decides to sell off the item for £8.99, that's a deal, not where a shop offers something that's always that price in that shop, however infrequently they stock it!

Perhaps there should be a separate thread for shops, like Aldi & Lidl, that sell certain items infrequently!? Perhaps that would stop posters clogging this up with Lidl & Aldi specials!?
