Bargain deal at ebuyer then although it doesnt seem to have stopped people purchasing from Dabs at the highest price because the info hasnt been added in the OP of the dabs deal

I have this NAS with 2x 2TB Samsung drives, it's ON around the clock. It's not the best NAS in the market but more than adequate for home use and at this price it's a steal, in my humble opinion.

Transfer rate is about 10 megabytes/second on a wired network, which is mid-range compared to other NAS drives. The faster ones are 10 times more expensive than this though.

Also, it can be hacked and used as a small linux box if you're into that, more info here.

Heat added.

Having ownded this (and several others, such as LG, Qnap etc) this one is pretty poor but the newer version is amazing....

Take my advice, pay another £15 and get the newer model

What's better in the new one, faster?

Updated OP but cant alter the link...please use eBuyer for this instead of BT Shop or Dabs

Although BT Shop is the cheapest after cashback, if you want to take a chance on that...no cashback from ebuyer

Hmm, says UPnP Media Server but not DLNA. Guess it wont work direct to a TV?

Faster, less buggy (this one keeps restarting), runs cooling, has better power down features (mine powers down for 6 hours overnight), better software, better bitorrent client, better Upnp server etc etc

Why is this cold? It's cheaper than eBuyer and Dabs.

So would I be better with the 320 over this 323. Are there any disadvantages to the 320, other than price.

And are the 2tb F4 the best bet.

Thanks Gav

Does anyone know if this'll work with a DLNA TV or would I have to look for a certified one?
