Does anyone know if this will work with Samsung smartthings and IFTTT? I’m using old mobile phones at the mo, looking to get something a little more discrete for internal security

Thank you for the info. I don't want that cap with Alexa..just want quality of the image (for this people should buy a camera )..just want 1080p and possibility to view it thru my phone..any suggestions will be appreciated!
Budget up to 40£
If this share the same platform as their other PTZ cam, stay away from D-Link. So frustrated with the set up and once you get it working, at a flick of their wish when they update their app, we can't access the camera outside using our mobile phone!
Good price, but doesn't work with Synology - DLink cloud only.

Am i right that there is a general move of manufacturers to lock customers to their own cloud and pay a subscription? There are a lot of lower price cameras but the gotcha is that you end up paying a lot more after monthly fees.

A lot of them do want you to pay for cloud storage, but it isn't essential. Insert a microsd and you're sorted. You can access the camera remotely without paying anything.
Bought one of these, setup was a pain in the jacksee. Now it is on my network and I can see it on in the app on my phone, but alexa can't find it even after adding the skill...is there something I need to do on the firestick to enable it?

Try re-authenticating your D-link account on the Alexa skill.

Tried that, are we meant to use MyDlink Camera, MyDlink Home or MyDLink Smart?

Thanks, still no joy...I've enabled and disabled all 3 skills...even tried linking it to Google Home and it won't do that either.

I have the same issue. Setup fine in d-link app but Alexa cannot discover it. I am tempted to return it as I wanted to use this with my echo show.

I have followed their basic troubleshooting guides, but nothing has worked....

Install the Mydlin app...not the life one...and make sure you add the cam in that. That will remove the camera from the 'lite' app, and it will be discoverable by Alexa/ Google.

After all that, my fire TV won't play it, even though it shiws as a device in the alexa app, but Google shows it on Chromecast.
Im buying nothing more Dlink...the 313 nas i have was obsolete when I bought it, not that I knew that then.

Not buying a newer fire tv stick...telly has all that built in anyway, so I can only use this on Google, which isn't my default.

Cheers. I'll try this later on today.

I am not home but I installed the mydlink app and was prompted to update my camera firmware. So it is looking good!
