You need to select Amazon as the the seller and not Box Limited
Nice price. Have some heat.
"Usually despatched within 1 to 2 months"

I suppose you could order, and cancel if something better comes along on black Friday.

Anyone know if this can be used with Sky Q as would have to set this as an AP plugged into the main sky q router????
'Wi-Fi Mesh-ready' - does that mean it's not really a mesh network? Not sure one device can be counted as a mesh.
Looking for a combined router /modem to replace my BT smart home hub which has the 14 day bug, had 2 replacements and both the same.Hopefully BF will throw up some decent deals.Prefer an all in one unit.

add on additional Mesh Devices around 30 quid. Googling will give you answer
I posted the model up last week for £127 but I have had nothing but issues with it, still fighting with it now.

Wondring what sort of problems you have had with it?

I've had to restart my Virgin router a couple of times if I have powered off the D-Link, but I'm really impressed with it apart from that.

Just curious to know.

Thanks Mark.

One of the bands keeps going off only way to get it back is to pull power cable. When it comes back up amazon echos won't connect with out a reboot.
You only know the band has gone if you split all 3 then you no longer see it available, or if you have the 2 5ghz teamed together then use a WiFi analyser and you eventually see one of the 5ghz bands vanish.

OK thanks for that and I'll watch out for that although I have it set to Smart Connect so it only has a single SSID for all bands, but can see all 3 bands ok so far.

Thanks Mark.

Hmm makes me wonder if a replacement will sort the issue, it happened everyday and has been hard reset multiple times.
Really want it to work but reception goes alot but may be because of the issue I am seeing.

Might be worth trying another one as I'm really impressed with it.

I'm guessing it's done the firmware updates?

Also I turned the mesh feature off as well althwmay turn it back on if I do decide to get the extra box.

Yeah done everything. I like it as well but it struggles to get reception around a small house, but I think thst may be more the house than anything.

Sky don't offer any sort of modem mode on their kit, best you could probably do is disable DHCP on the sky kit and put this in repeater mode I reckon
McAfee built in? -cold

How have you found the bands, mines dropped again today less than 12 hours since last reboot, knew it had gone whilst at work as food at in the Alexa app that one of the devices was offline. Got home and did a scan and could only see one 5ghz band. Also now! Echo 2nd gens won't auto connect back up.

They still all seem to be there (one 2.4ghz and the two 5ghz bands although not too sure about the actual channel they are using as they seem to be on a lot of other stuff in the area although I'm getting decent speeds with no drop out and no real buffering on the TV anymore).

Did arrange for it to go back but may swap for an exchange, not sure if it's because I cloned my old ssid to save having to redo all my devices, but can't see how that can drop a band.

Also if you check your logs are you getting lists of dns errors like this.

Sorry but I've had a quick look for the logs in the app but cannot find them.

Were you browsing to the router to get them?
Mine's been shipped. Was hoping it'd ship after black fri in case of offers but ah well, £85's a decent price. Anyone want mcafee protection

With their older white and even the black routers, you could extract the user and password from them and use a third party modem.

Not sure about the sky q ones.
This router DOES NOT SUPPORT SMB GREATER THAN V1, which has now been disabled in Windows due to being decades old and very vulnerable to ransomware attacks, in case you're thinking of sharing your storage through the router's USB ports.

So much for being new and supposedly secure. What's the point of those firmware upgrades and family security if they can't address the basic issues?
