Pair with smarty.co.uk/pla…ted and not a bad broadband only deal. Was going to do it myself until Virgin media retentions caved in
Pity it looks like it uses dildos as antenna
how many devices does this support?
Damn, impulsively bought it, couldn't pass it at this price! Super hot, thanks!
Impulsive buy here too. I can have a play and if the speeds aren't too clever, just send it back. Love amazon prime, and love this price. 🔥

Edit...
Arrived today, plugged it in with 3 sim card, 2 minutes later all connected. 1 minute later speed test 7Mbps better download (to 36Mbps) and doubled upload speeds to 18mbps and I haven't even fiddled yet.

NOW Broadband may be getting cancelled here as my line drops a few times a week and speeds fluctuate badly. I know it could be traffic from other houses, but early signs are good.

"download speeds of up to 150 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50 Mbps"

Better off just using a mobile Hotspot on your phone.

This is a proper router, you don't buy this only for its hotspot feature.

What a joke of a device

I know it's not a mobile router, but at £9 why is it a joke of a device? Xiaomi routers are actually quite good

Minimalistic in performance. Cant support heavy traffic for multiple devices at once . Good for a few though

Sorry I don't get the joke, please explain I can be a bit slow 😋
Can this be bandlocked?
I'm looking into this for my parents who live in the middle of nowhere, landline broadboan is almost none existent but they have 4G on EE. Anyone know any MVNO's that use 4G that have cheaper data/sim only plans? The EE direct data plans seems very expensive.
Can you receive texts / calls with this?
The D-Link website says you can send texts, but says nothing about receiving them.

Three is a lot cheaper usually and in my experience OK outside of cities ( bit oversubscribed in crowded areas), not sure if you would a signal for them.
Keep an eye out for deals or check sites like fonehouse, I don't think anyone should be paying the EE website prices.

4g.co.uk/new…ee/

Virgin are a major MVNO that use EE

Virgin are now switching over to Vodafone which will give it better coverage. BT`s EE is still crap when it come to coverage and expensive. It would not surprise me if it stays that way for some time because BT do not like investing in network infrastructure.
