Mmmm. Bush.
I'm unsure about bush nowadays, my mates bush dab radio was pretty flakey. Manufactured for argos on the back. If you don't have a aux jack this might be the cheapest dab. However if you have a aux jack already spend the same on a Pure Move 2500 Rechargeable Personal Digital DAB/FM Radio from Amazon.

and you get £5 off voucher too
I may be wrong, but I think that you need a DAB antenna to get DAB - or a splitter converter to use the FM aerial.
Worth checking before you buy.

I looked but didn't see that. Thanks
DAB, Bluetooth and CD a rare combination below £100 - usually one those 3 missing - so heat, although questionable brand quality.

If you used that, would you get a good reception in the car? Bearing in mind this in dash unit comes with its own dedicated DAB aerial.
What cars fit these things these days?

These exist too (although this one has now gone OOS, there are other makes available)

I've had one a few weeks, it looks quite neat and saves the hassle of having to replace my built in factory fitted radio.

And then an unlimited data package?
I've got one of these in a £600 Toyota avensis. So far hasn't let me down, works well, just Bluetooth when paired with phone may work better on more recent cars rather than a 15 year old car like mine lol. Has space for a SD card as well so can use a SD card to store music etc

I did try using the bush rechargeable dab pocket radio to connect to my stereo (aux jack) and it did work most of the time. Only problem was there was interference which I should not blame this device for, when I was connecting usb chargers etc (and probably poor wiring/grounding on my stereo). Anyways, its available for 29£ and is worth a try.
Anyone who owns this stereo - do you know if it works with an iPod via USB?

Tempted to get one as its a great price for all these features
I bought this yesterday. Easy to install. Good for the money. I think I'd like to upgrade my speakers now

Would you be able to try an iPod/iPhone via USB and see if it works?

no sorry. I don't own either. If I find someone who does, I'll give it a go. I don't see why it should work ok. support.apple.com/en-…412

I have a Samsung note 4. Just tried it in the USB & it doesn't read it. Fine over bluetooth tho.

I'm not sure why you want usb but you could just connect them jack to jack from the headphone socket.
Thanks martin69 - much appreciated

Normally get better sound quality via USB as opposed to bluetooth but least it works over bluetooth. I'm presuming you can still skip tracks from the headunit when using bluetooth?

Did you notice an improvement in audio quality compare to standard headunit?

Finally, how are you finding DAB with the supplied aerial?

You're welcome. Skipping tracks works fine from the head unit. I think the sound quality would probably be improved with a wired connection like the jack socket. The original was a blaupunkt radio/cd. This is a big improvement. My speakers will only take 75% of the volume so I'll probably upgrade them now. I keep the aerial on the dash. It's only about 8" tall & the reception is good although I've only driven in urban areas so far. Overall I'm pleased with it. I didn't want to spend a lot of cash on one but definitely wanted something better. Loving the dab stations now :-) Hands free phone calls work well too.
