Sorry but I don't see how those links make this one cold.

I'll add heat but what I could really do with is a review about this particular model but having said that I've bought Dabs Value items in the past and been very happy with them.

I think you can get another 22" monitor cheaper from the likes of Aria, Ebuyer or Bigpockets.

Think? Can you or can't you?

If you can, where's the post?

Aria
Aria Brand: £86 + del:
aria.co.uk/Pro…161

HannsG: £92 + del
aria.co.uk/Sup…101

Keep an eye on Aria or subscribe to their newsletter cos they have some really good one day deals - like a 37" LCD TV for £299.

does the dabs have a matt or glossy finish

None of the deals posted here are better than this Dabs one. Voted hot.

ebuyer.com/pro…ews

£6.04 dearer on ebuyer, 8 reviews as well.

Good find. A little more yes but according to reviews the Hanton has a 3 year warranty while it isn't clear yet that the Dabs has more than a year, though the Hanton website doesn't seem to offer much in the way of UK support?

The monitor looks good and Im actually in the market for a new monitor at the moment (though i would prefer larger) but unfortunately I do not buy anything from DABS anymore after they refused to even discuss accepting an unused hard drive back last year which i bought on my biz account.

I used to buy lots from them but there you go...win the battle and lose the war. They lost a regular customer in me. No doubt the monitor will be nice but good luck getting any joy sorting the problem out if anything goes wrong.

Thanks for the link, but;
Take reviews on ebuyer with a pinch of salt - ebuyer edit or delete them as they see fit.

I think a lot of places do that.

i had a similar experience with scan.co.uk - bought hard drive on business account, they took it back and said i had broken it, refused to refund me or even send it back. mastercard sorted those fsckers out!

they lost a good customer to ebuyer.com who don't even ask why you're sending something back for a refund, they just do it.

anyway back on topic, yeah the monitor looks ok for the money if it is the dvi one, i'd buy it from ebuyer for the few pounds extra though.

VGA & DVI aswell. Not bad at all.
