This is not the most technilogicaly advanced TV in the world ,but for the ones of us who are not all that fussy this one seems to do nicely ,Pay your money and take your chance, I did.

All used stock has a 90 day warranty

Good point ,the 90 day warranty is not ideal, however i did say "Pay your money and take your chance"

that would not bother me I use a sky box as do many others (either sky or virgin or freesat or external freeview pvr etc etc) to me a freeview tuner built in is just another component to go wrong and as it just replaces a £15 external component its no big deal IMO after all with a 360, sky box, original xbox, kids ps1, remote scart switch amp etc underneath whats one more little gizmo box underneath?

The warranty is the factor that puts me off:thumbsup:

I bought one of these last year for around £220, it funnily enough did break down, i chanced my luck with dabs and with no effort at all they sent a courier to pick it up and got another one.....other is still going fine atm! so hot from me

I ordered one of these about five months ago new for £215 (incl. a £25 voucher). However, my set had a terrible picture and made a high pitch sound so I asked for a return and my money back. It took me two months to have the set collected and my money returned and only after I involved my credit card company. Never again would I touch Dabs or BTShop (same company).

I could do with a cheap set for my 360 tempting...

read DABS reviews b4 buying anything of them, not a company with the best rep if problems arise

When Dabs are only offering a 90 day warranty on this, surely the purchaser's consumer rights under the Sale of Goods Act you would expect the TV to last 3 years +, and you'd be covered under that? Does anyone know if this changes with the fact that these are 'recon'?

This protection does not apply to recon or second hand.
