Dabs Value DVD Recorder & 160GB PVR with Freeview - AS NEW

Forgot to mention: 90 days warranty (it's probably as long as it lasts, or less)

It's not so much the goods which are the problem, it's actually the company itself.

NO customer service.
NO telephone contact number
NO response to enquiries or complains under 5 days (if you are lucky)

High Risk shopping Dabs.com + BTShop (same company); that's not my opinion but my experience!

I bought one just after Christmas and sent it back. It's total crap as other reviewers have pointed out. Poor quality picture from the Freeview tuner, with constant flickering and a backgroung hiss/hum on the sound. The remote control functionality is a bit of a nightmare too. AVOID

I got one of these for my parents & it froze at the startupscreen - had to send it back. Generally poor reviews elsewhere too, the 90 day guarantee makes it a poor buy IMHO.

It's a Wharfdale, steer clear......

Anyway about Dabs, I have used them a lot and never had any problems. Have sent back many hundreds of pounds worth of gear that I didn't like and have had no problem getting them refunded. Also had a DVD recorder that broke 60 days after I had bought it and was given a refund.
