I had a letter through the post from city motors bristol. Apparently they have a limited stock of brand new Dusters Ambiance 1.5dCi for 10995 and the laureate 1.5dCi for 11995 both at 4x2 drive models compare that to the online price for a brand new model there is a saving of £1000 and £1500 respectively.
if you want a different colour I think there will be added cost.
I think this is a good so thought I'd share.
All the dacia haters, hate the car not the post

Still a bargain price for the car and trim/spec.
Must admit when I first read the title I read it as "Ambulance" and I thought "Bit of a niche market, but HUKD'ers will buy anything.."
I think he made it quote clear he's not a car snob...
Im no car snob either but I would never, ever buy one of these, whomever does needs their heads looked at. The residual value alone should make people run a mile.
This brand makes Fiat and Renault and owners appear savvy.
Don't be silly. This is hukd lol.
Skoda's are nice cars. I love the look of the Octavia, though I'm scared to buy one incase everyone thinks I'm a taxi!
I've not drove in a Duster. I saw one the other week on the road and I actually thought it was nice. When you consider it's the same price as a 4x4 that is three or four years old, it's not too bad a deal.
Makes me think of this ->
I don't think starting your sentences with "I'm not a car snob but..." does not prevent you being a car snob.
That being said, I'm not a car snob, but I wouldn't be seen dead in one of these. The people at the country club would laugh at me, and my chauffer would probably quit. I'll stick with the Rolls thanks
Don't blame you . Rolls are tasty
You better be prepared.
I'm not even trolling. Cars are not something that I've ever had a big interest in. It's always been about getting to A to B. I don't like types of cars such as the Ford Ka etc, but I'd drive one if it saved me money.
I like the look and price of some Chevrolet cars - though people keep talking about it being a bad badge. Is it really worth paying thousands more for a badge?
It baffles me sometimes that people would spend thousands more in order to impress other people with their car. It's the old "my dad can beat your dad in a fight", "my peepee is bigger than your pee" etc.
What a POS this car brand really is. £11k for vomit? Buy a used car for that much.
You could probably buy a used Ferrari or a used Porche at that price too. Regardless of quality, you are still comparing a brand new car to a used car.
I'm definitely with you in that I'd prefer to buy a car that is a few years old, though if you are looking for a brand new 4x4 or corssover car; the Duster would save you at least eight grand over something like a Nissan Qashqui and thirteen grand over a Toyota Rav 4.
I'd probably go for the option of buying a more premium car that is a few years old, but if you are someone that wants to buy a car new, then I'd rather have an extra ten grand in my pocket.

Dacia Duster 94.83% - which incidentally is above some models from BMW/Audi/Lexus to name a few.
Laureate does come with A/C btw
1) Prone to rust (especially white ones) - see Honest John.
2) NCAP safety rating only 4* - very low for a modern car.
3) Built in India - poor quality control.
If you can live with that fair enough but there are better options at £11,000 (one year old Golf, two year old Qashqai)
Nope, the QQ2 has a 1.5 DCI but it's a new engine and not the same one used in the Duster.
I wouldn't worry to much about those guys, you know what they say "there's no such thing as bad publicity"
