This is also included on the re released version of the Duster out in October.

Does it come with tinted windows all round? Wouldn't want anyone to see me driving it!

I also have 0% interest in buying one.

lol

I've got one, good cars. Made and owned by Renault.

Don't care or worry what the trolls say :-)

Nobody wants to see you driving anything

Honestly wouldn't want to drive one but as a deal it's certainly a cracking one!

Wouldn't worry about driving one, but I would worry about the very serious rust issue these have had, I presume that's why this offer is on...
Personally, I wouldn't have any faith in Dacia's now, and I was seriosuly considering one for the wife...
Done themselves no end of harm with the way they handled that...

My brother's a pretty wealthy guy has one and loves it. he couldn't stand the thought of paying so much for an evoke or sportage. I must say I didn't like the look of them but he's got all the kit on it and all th toys and it looks ok

On the continent they are cheaper in most countries and have superior build as they are made in Romania but over here we pay more for the inferior indian made model. Still a good value car but sadly Dacia's from India don't match the quality of the Romania factory.

Apparently, these NEW ones are romainian, after India did SUCH a good job a trashing Dacias reputation with the old model...

If you want to experience driving in the 1990's buy this...

Apparently all production is now switched to Romania because they had a problem with rust...

Are you confusing Dacia with DeLorean?

Its hardly 0% finance when they have put the price up £500.

Clever marketing to catch the idiots.

The price went up £500 nearly a year ago, not when they added 0% dsuk

There are 2 kinds of people that praise the Duster.

1) People who have bought them, no one wants to think they have spent 10k+ on an awful car

2) People who have never been inside one (examined the rust etc)

Does it come with a boot full of Mr.Sheen?

Or 3, sensible people who want a new car without paying for the badge!

4) people who cant afford a new car

5) people who have no idea what they are talking about

6) people who have nothing better to do than write comments on Hot Deals.

Oh wait, that last one is me.....

Good for new car, but its petrol car. Still hot

Hot from me, just done 95,000 miles I'm dacia sandero and no faults, for £5995 on the road I would say I have already had my money's worth. why they are £5995 on the road I will buy a new one every 3 years, even if I only get £3000 when I come to sell then I have only lost £1000 pounds per year, most cars lose that value once a new owner goes on the log book.

Is this the one where you have to go about 3 models up the range to get one that comes with a radio? X)

Type Dacia Duster and Rust into Google..

Enjoy your car lol

That's brilliant news. Still best to avoid the early ones.

Funniest thing I've read this week.

You think a three year old Sandero Access with 100k on the clock is worth £3000?

Think again

Cars like this are for the throw-away generation.

Don't be such a snob. This is HUKD, not all deals are going to fit your own personal criteria.
Cars fit different budgets and different needs for people, get over it.

An Eastern European is just a person. They can make anything.
Donuts in Tesco or X-ray machines for hospitals.
I think you will find they can do the same jobs as you can.

Dacia- What car? of the year 2014 for the second year running

Horse power or horse meat? Ha

How is pointing out the reality being a snob?

People need to know they aren't a bargain, they are a cheap car made to a cheap price.

Anyone thinking they are going to get a good return when they sell is delusional.

Buy one, run it into the ground, expect nothing at the end and you wont be disappointed.

Avoid this car at all costs. The 0% offer is available a most other manufacturers. So nothing special.
New Dacia's are suffering from rust within 12 months!!!!
It seems these vehicles have not been galvanized properly or simply not galvansied at all.

Galvanization is the process of applying a protective zinc coating to steel or iron, to prevent rusting. The most common method is hot-dip galvanization, in which parts are submerged in a bath of molten zinc.
Galvanizing protects in two ways:
it forms a coating of corrosion-resistant zinc which prevents corrosive substances from reaching the more delicate metal
the zinc serves as a sacrificial anode so that even if the coating is scratched, the exposed steel will still be protected by the remaining zinc.

we've had our duster since january, lovely car, its plasticy yes but its just a car, gets your from a to b comfortably like its meant too. 40-50mpg and a really good size for the money, really cant complain so when the lease is up we will probably just get the new one to replace it.

and yes, ive checked all the usual places and we dont have any rust what so ever.

Fifty percent residual value on a car that's covered three times the average annual mileage? I think you might be in for a nasty surprise.

This suggests that a 3 year old 60k car would be worth £2,400 - so yours would be way below £2k.

http://www.honestjohn.co.uk/news/miscellaneous/2013-07/dacia-sandero-sets-impressive-resale-values/

Saying that, if you got £1,500 you've lost £4,500 - or £28 a week. If you got £1,000 it's only £32 a week! Not sure you could hire a car this size for £120 a week let alone a month.

As long as your happy that's all that matters really

Thread appears to have been heavily moderated with two replies I posted disappearing. Would be nice to know why rather than a drive-by modding!

More than two!

All the comments about those pesky Romanians have disappeared.

It appears im not the only one with time on my hands this afternoon
