If the Chevrolet Captiva is worth 2000+ heat for £12,995, then why not the Dacia Logan MCV estate, yours brand new for the ridiculous price of £6,995! Dacia is a Renault brand. The car is rated 4/5 by AutoExpress, it won't beat other brands for refinement but it's a brand new estate car for less than £7k!!! Comes with a three-year/60,000-mile warranty, which can be extended to five years/60,000 miles for £395, or seven years/100,000 miles for £850.
Richard Hammond's view: "The boot space of a Volvo V70 yet one of the lowest price tags on the showroom floor. The Dacia Logan MCV is an incredible bargain with a starting price of £6,995. If you need a lot of space and aren’t bothered by badges, it’s the logical choice." (http://www.mirror.co.uk/lifestyle/motoring/car-reviews/richard-hammonds-top-10-cars-2962875)
(NB The car in the photo is the Ambience model which costs just over £1k more inc metallic paint)
Stupid cheap! #sizzling

This is the list price I see no deal....
Nope, I'd not heard of the Chevy so I figured people may not have heard of this Dacia. The RRP of the Chevy was ridiculous and they can't have sold many at all at over £20k. The Logan is ridiculously cheap to start with i.e. a hot deal at its list price, in the same way that Nexus phones have been voted very hot at list price.
This site is about sharing deals, not accumulating heat which is of no consequence to life!
Just a reminder to all site rules are:
What are the different types of deals?
Deals can be any product or service people can buy for a bargain, including two-for-one sales, reduced prices, and clear out sales.
Expect this won't be move as the site is getting very messy over the last few months
I don't think so. The OP is just pointing out a bargain priced car that many people on a low budget might have missed and may consider.
Today's hottest deal (nearly 4000!) is for a house number plate that is £8: that's it's standard price - it's not reduced! The 3rd hottest deal is for a tax rebate on uniform! I am more than happy for both items to feature on this site as it's all about value for money and sharing things that save us money or even get us money back.
Does this not come under the bargain title?
These are built in the following locations:
Mioveni, Romania
Casablanca, Morocco (Somaca)
Bursa, Turkey (Oyak-Renault)
São José dos Pinhais, Brazil (Renault Brazil)
Exactly dare I say mods need to sort this out people will stop using the site as you can expect the reindeer mess for a few weeks but then it should all be kept clean
With technology and designs 1-3generations out of date.
Economy, noise levels, handling etc are all old school and out of date.
Normally a new car that is cheap I'd vote hot but not when you could buy a 1-2 year old car of a much more modern design and spec for similar money. Not to mention having better safety records.
What a charmer.
But on a serious note its a lot of car for the cash. As new cars get more expensive every year so do second hand values. So if you plan on keeping it for a while it should be good on depreciation.
So all those guys giving it 4/5 stars are clueless and you know better?
Care to explain what experience do you have with these cars? Thanks.
All pre wired for a stereo, so £100 sorts that out with your own choice. Another £150 for a full size spare wheel and carrier and thats all it needs. Trim isn't luxury at all but its solid and thought out.
I'd certainly entertain a Logan, I've seen one and I thought it was fine.
A deal goes hot and Dacia has a site crash. Surely there can't be that many tumbleweeds of an average day??
hot from me
Soon they will move production to UK...
They're moving workers as we speak.
Families living on tight budgets shouldn't be buying new cars.
1.2 75bhp on an estate - lol
yes, I can't move...I am surrounded by Romanians and Bulgarians....
someone's reading too much of a Daily Mail
Idiot
