Daddy Burger is back! 1lb of beef burger goodness for £3 @ Morrisons

It's back just in time for Fathers Day!

The 'Daddy' of all burgers has returned, 454g of pure British beef goodness. Missed the opportunity to try these out last time, so think I will pick up a couple for the Barbecue this weekend

A size appropriate bun is available also for 50p, but just use some loaf ends if you are going for that classic home made burger.

Nothing wrong with burgers, eating this won't make you a "pig" and it certainly won't take 5 years off your life.

Gotta love HUKD, I suppose we should all live off salad like you lot?

In regards to whether or not these taste any good, they aren't great. They're a very bland burger, you'd be better buying some lean mince and making your own with your favourite seasoning thrown in.

Wasn't that impressed with them last year tbh.

make your own, even if you just get mince, form it into a burger and add salt and pepper you will have one better than this. Add some extras like garlic even garlic granuals, smoked paprika, chopped onion or chili you cant go wrong. But of course buy any burger and have 11% filling

Ingredients Allergy Advice: For allergens see highlighted ingredients

Beef (89%), Pea Flour, Water, Maltodextrin, Salt, Dried Onion, Yeast Extract, Sugar, Paprika, Preservative (Sodium Metabisulphite), White Pepper, Sage, Acid (Citric Acid), Antioxidant (Sodium Ascorbate), Acidity Regulator (Sodium Acetates), Rapeseed Oil, Parsley, Flavouring

With 1lb of fries, extra large roll, 1/2lb cheese, and a 2 ltr bottle of cola, dont forget the pickle gurkin ( you need your healthy bit )👌
Nothing says “i love you dad” more than taking 5+ years off your life expectancy with this burger
Make sure you cook it for the proper amount of time: "place the burger under a pre-heated medium heat, grill for 35-40 minutes turning frequently. "
Disgusting of course, but a fun "novelty" item if your dad's a bit of a pig.

Rather get one half the size from my local butcher with 100% pure beef.

subliminal messages OP,

are those 2 photos above a before and after? as he looks younger in the smaller top image?

Nice work.
Good old Morrisons is 'on trend'.
No obesity problem in Morrisons world.
New slogan: Pile them big, sell 'um cheap and kill them quick.
You lot are laughable.

Pack size isn't making people obese, people not being honest with themselves about their energy expenditure and the amount of calories they're comsuming is the problem.

I could easily fit this burger in to my diet and see no adverse effect.

Voted hot, just to offset some of the vegans who are voting it cold for no other fact than it's meat.

Had one last time.... my advice, don't attempt to eat it on your own... would easily feed 4
I found Aldis 1lb "colossal burger" to be very impressive. Was only £1.35 a couple of weeks ago in my local, wish I'd stocked up!

The food police are on thier way...
In Memphis a couple of years ago we had the burger featured on Man v Food. The meat weighs in at 4lb, total weight with fries & extras 7.5lb. kookycanuck.com/koo…ge/
3 of us shared and still left some.
We had the small one, they also do one with 6lb of meat and the large with a 12lb patty.

I bought it last year, put bacon cheese, lettuce and burger sauce. Took me 10 minutes to finish. Too much meat to enjoy

Eating one pound of (most) fruit is worst
Also a whole pound of mash potatoes is worst.. also I heard beans too,
Point is eating this once won't you kill you nor will it shorten your life it may give you a stomach ache

If you don't go beyond your recommend calcories it's fine

This is much better value for the same quantity of meat, probably better quality, fits normal buns and you can choose to have smaller portions ....

Seriously grilling a burger for 40 minutes!? Surely that's way too long?

Killing and eating plants is OK though because they're not cute.
