Great find gordon_burns

Ok guys ... please help me out ... quick critique - whats the spec like - is it decent enough? Am thinking about buying it. Tv's arent my strong point, so would appreciate any help. TIA

Holy crapballs.....!

Are we about to see the start of an LCDTV Xmas price war?

edit: At this sort of price I just suggest people take the plunge.

The same spec & 1/2 the price of the one I bought in Feb (grrr!)
Very hot deal!

Ordrered - hope it comes through. Heat and rep:)

Great price. Need a 2nd TV to put in my office room. Was looking at 19" ones for £150 odd so a lot more for your dollars

Quick google search and everone else sells this for over £400, bought one for quick for Xmas present for Mom, thanks. (£191.04 after quidco).

thats a well good deal

Just ordered one too!! For that price as a TV for the bedroom, you cant afford to wait to find out about reviews....go on take the plunge!! Bought mine for a Christmas pressie....one very impressed son I am gonna have!! :santa:

Ordered  many thanks gordon_burns. H/R +. Never had a Play.com order canceled yet, so fingers crossed.

Any ideas if it's wall mountable

Fleabay sellers are going to order them in bulk

I just bought one and I have no where to put it!! It's just to good to pass up at a price like that.

Finding it hard to find detailed specs on this. Have found reference to it having 2xSCART inputs and "PC Input" (VGA, I presume). No mention of Component though, which is fairly worrying.

Tempted to get this for my mum, but unsure what connection a Sky+ HD box uses.

EDIT - ah, apparently Sky+HD has HDMI/SCART/Component.

Tempting. Voted hot anyway, as it's a steal even if it's just to run a console on or something.

I have some space in my study that would take a 32" TV. :-D

For connectivity with HD ready televisions, the box outputs via a HDMI connector (adapters to Digital Visual Interface are available). The box is High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) compliant. Sky boxes manufactured prior to Jan 2008 also had analogue component connections (YPbPr), but as the HDCP copy protection cannot be applied to this type of output it is no longer included. Traditional standard-definition (SD) connections are available via SCART and S-Video. All programming is currently output from both HDMI and SD connections, although individual broadcasters have the option to require HDCP (and therefore HDMI) in the future.

I bought this television as I was purchasing a Playstation 3 and so needed a High Definition TV. I liked its sleek black design, and it looked much more stylish than any other TV I could find for the same price. The specification are also fairly impressive, with a dynamic contrast ration of 5000:1 and a brightness of 550cd/m2.

As well as hooking up the TV to my PS3, it is also connected to my PC and works as a second monitor. Some of the connections on the rear of the TV though, are a little close together. The VGA connector from my PC and the HDMI lead from my PS3 only just fit in next to each other. All of the other connections (Component and 2 scarts) are well spaced.
I was also impressed that you can display in the full 1366x768 resolution from my PC, as I have often read that many HDTVs only display in 1024x768 which is not a full widescreen resolution so looks odd. Although this TV only supports 720p and 1080i, the picture quality is really quite good.

The TV comes with built in freeview which is a nice option. However, the only slight complaint I have about the TV lies here. The freeview guide is not the most user-friendly that I have ever come across, however this is a small price to pay for what is otherwise a very good television.

This has HDMI so will work with Sky+ HD.

thanks order one

Ordered !? THANKS MAN !!! HEATED and Rep'ed

Hi, has anyone found out any useful information about this television, other than the surprising price? I have checked around and can't even find a properly written review and the Daewoo site denies all knowledge of its existence.

Oh and can anyone please tell me the disadvantages of getting an analogue tuner rather than a digital one?

Thanks everyone.

just ordered 2!
