Amazon says no.

Does this work well with burning movies from Sky+?

Banned

Amazon ]reviews (@ £200) are generally good however one reviewer had no end of problems (2 replacements within guarantee); is there a question over the Daewoo's reliability?

BTW it has an analog tuner, in case anyone is assuming it's digital.

You can record on it using the Scart input - would this help the Sky+ users?

Also loks like it is quite noisy. A pet hate.I may as well take my spare PC downstairs and use that instead.

The level of noise is about the same as a busy PC with its CPU fan on. If … The level of noise is about the same as a busy PC with its CPU fan on. If you are closer than six foot from it then the fan sound is likely to be a nuisance, particulary when playing quiet music tracks. Because of the fan noise I would say this machine is best used for recording when you do not want to watch the TV at the same time. For the quieter films I would suggest it is best used by recording to DVD and then playing the DVD on another cheapo player.
