Didnt Daewoo use to make cars? Whats next Ferrari washing machines lol
Cold
Its a fridge / freezer...
I've bought one myself. yeh you might thing its a Daewoo, but over a thousand reviews, and the rating of 9 out of 10, you cant go wrong. A very good size too.....
We've had an 'Ice & Water' Daewoo for six years now and it is still as good as it was the day we bought it.

This is a good price, but I would go for the 'ice & water' version if there is a deal on.

Daewoo Electronics are the 3rd largest electronics manufacturer is South Korea, after Samsung and LG.

Not worth laughing out loud too I'm afraid emirates!

On a more important note, Get Thierry back man. I'm a Toon supporter through and through but that lad was magical to watch. The Prem was worse off when he moved on. Why you ever let him go is beyond me (not 'you' personally of course). And to the knockers, yeah we all know he's not the player he was but so what? He's still world class in my book.

As to Wenger's 'turn around', utterly fantastic! An outstanding manager. Again, world class. And before you start ManUre fans, we don't want to hear about Rudolf the red nose manager!

Why? I can understand that 'you' would go for it as I assume you have a want/need for such a facility but if someone isn't interested in 'Ice & Water' and/or has no need for it, why would they pay for it and compromise on storage space for it?
Great price. Luckily when our fridge packed in unexpectedly there was a Samsung on special, near enough this price, with ice/water dispenser. We use this feature extensively. If I was buying now, I would be very torn on the price of this versus paying more for a dispensing fridge.
Slightly cheaper at Pixmania but for the 5 quid difference, I'd probably go with Currys. pixmania.co.uk/uk/…tml
Was looking at this in October and it was £400 in Currys
We got this about 3 years ago - for £499.

Was it ever £850???
We have one of these, admittedly bought Second hand for about £200, however we're VERY happy with it. Plenty of space, keeps things nice and cold and the Freezer is superb, cools things quickly and we've had absolutely no ice build up.

Hot.

hot I mean cold no meant hot
Got a 8 year old Daewoo frost free fridge freezer and it is still as good as new and been moved between 3 houses, my mam also owns american style daewoo fridge freezer 4 year old with zero problems, top quality products imho not sure about other products by this company but i can say they make fantastic fridge freezers
It would have to be half the price for me to consider Pixmania for anything
I remember Clarkson doing an ad for Daewoo , Got paid sh** loadsof money

For Saying 'That will be the Daweoo'......... anybody remember ?

Errr .... No
Standard price
Where is the freezer compartment? I am not up with these new fridge freezers. I have always had separates.
Always wanted one of these, but with the water & ice dispenser. But that was something that always put me off because of having to plumb it in which wouldn't be easy due to where we'd have to put it. So thinking again, maybe one without would be a better bet?

Not a bad price but not that unusual for around the £500 mark. Still, reviews are very good and that is, I think, more important.
Why are people voting hot? This is the standard price.

Just like the Samsung with water dispenser for £699 is the standard price.
Got this for £450 a few months ago then price rocketed up to £799 the day after I ordered. Good price and brill fridge/freezer so far!

Freezer door on left, fridge on right I wish it was the opposite as I never fill the fridge and the freezer is always full!
Just looked at Very site - £899! Lol!!

Our's is about 6ft away from the water source, so it goes up the wall, along the ceiling, down the wall and a small hole is drilled through to the other room. It works fine...

We didn't know we needed it until we had it, and we only bought it because it was the best offer at the time, ie it was cheaper to buy with than without. It was finally plumbed in about 6 months after purchase. Wouldn't be without it now, but each to their own.
I got one of these from a guy in work it was to big for his kitchen I said how much do you want for it he said just get me a bacon roll now that's a bargain and he delivered it

Agreed - it is not really an American style fridge unless it has an ice cube dispenser.

And it uses quite a lot of energy. You can save serious money by getting an A+ rated one.

Which is what puts me off getting one.

Does it really make that much difference? I mean, in terms of the paying more for the A+ rating v's the cheaper version?
We have this. The fridge section is huge but the freezer side is slightly too small in comparison
(but we do tend to keep it well stocked). We didn't get the one with the water dispenser because I
was concerned it would take up too much space in what is already a compact freezer. Quality
wise it seems great (only had it a couple of months). The fridge section is so huge we store tins in
there for best efficiency (I think an empty fridge uses more power). There's also a handy repeating
chime after about 30 seconds of leaving a door open.
Had a Daewoo once and the motor blew up.

Mind you I was doing 100 mph on the M11 at the time....

There was me thinking this was a Hot Deals site - keep the football chat to your football forums.
I come on here to get away from you football cone-heads.

You think too far ahead! Buy it first, worry about getting it in the house later!!

I did just this when I bought a full size fruit machine - had a hell of a job getting it in through the door (made worse because they weigh about 200kg!) but I had no choice - got it in after quite some time and a bit of blasphemy!

Got the Daewoo Black model with the Ice dispenser from Currys a few months back, been happy with it.

Cost me £500 then ,was at a low price and there was a Currys code for 20% offas well ,when it arrived it had a tiny mark,I complained and got another 10% off,and it was bought through a cashback site which paid back some more, a bargain at the time I thought.
The guys at currys were brilliant with ours - we live in a 3 storey house and once we bought it had no idea how we'd get it in. They were great though and carried it up the stairs to the second floor for us even though they had a real struggle Its never leaving again now!
I got the Black Water and Ice version from Pixmania because they were 35% cheaper than anyone else and when it turned up it come from Currys, Currys were 40% more expensive. Have had it nearly 2 years now and you cannot go wrong with Daewoo. Laugh you might but they make good American Fridge Freezers

i have had the water/ice version for nearly a year and think i managed to get it for £479.. brilliant fridge/freezer but as said earlier, i wish the freezer was as big as the fridge!
now further 50 pounds reduction by using code RFRIDGE10. so a total of 449.99
