Was just about to say something similar
Do great chips and chicken...just don't expect the halogen bulb to last long!
We have gone through a few!

This or an extra 150 for an Actifry?

Thought it was a cpu cooler from pic on my phone!
Just picked one up and it is massive! No idea where I’m going to be able to store it!

As I have said before look it up on Wikipedia, totally different method of cooking, and you won't need to keep replacing bulbs!
This is more a halogen oven with static air fryer rather than actifry. Plus cheap halogen bulb that goes after a few months.

You can buy several of these for each actifry so it works out in a way cheaper, that is if you have the storage space and do not mind harming the environment. It is like cheap printers, the ink cost more, in this case the bulb
I’ve got one of these and it’s great for making a quick meal or a meal just for my toddler as it’s using less electric than my main oven.

It is large and its awkward to store, but very easy to keep clean as it washes lovely.

I make my slimming world chips with this also and it’s great for those.

Fab price as i paid £25 for mine last year.
I bought one of these to replace our old cookworks halogen which lasted 4 years . This one is better but assumed it would also last 4 years? It says a new build is about £12 . So in theory I should buy another at this price and store it? If the bulb is going to go!
Facebook can to get hold for
These are fantabulous....I use mine almost daily so much more energy efficient than putting oven on...perfick for those cooking for 1 or 2!
Why does it have to be black? How about grey or white?
I bought one of these a while back from maplin but it was branded maplin but it looks identical just a different colour, i bought it to replace an old ovation 1400watt one that the non stick coating had started to lift from the bowl, but i am disappointed with the new one, it cooks everything fine apart from bread crumbs, i find the fan power is too low to swirl the crumbs around the bowl so they do not dry the same.
It does however make a great job of baked or roast potatoes

a new bulb is twice as cheaper - like this
but the price is great if you need one of these

Technic diversity.
Just ordered one. Have had two halogen ovens before and loved them. The fan went in both after a few years. £16:99 is a proper bargain. Would recommend one of these all day long.
Thanks on bulb prices- these ovens are brill! I barely use my main oven. This one has 2 little baskets which work well for baking roast pots, fish fingers etc. And easy to clean.

An element vs a bulb with fan circulation

The only major difference is the price

Mine came with a spare bulb and two years of daily use and I still haven't had to replace the bulb.

The ActiFry *is* better, in terms of how it cooks the food. But it is also a LOT more expensive, and just as shoddily-made. After the first one went, I started buying them from Costco so I can return them when they break every couple of years and get a new one.
These are briilaint, own 3 of them.
Have this model, its good. I know the bulb will go eventually but hey ho. Great at this price...halogen HEAT.
I love cooking with these ovens. This is a good buy.
Make sure you have somewhere to place the lid when getting food out. I do not recommend holding the lid and food at the same time.
I have one where the lids sits at the back and it's very convenient along with being much safer IMHO.
