Daewoo Halogen Air Fryer Low Fat Oven with 12L Capacity

This powerful Daewoo 12 Litre Halogen Oven is a revolutionary way to cook whole meals quickly, easily and healthily with less fat. The combination of a carbon heating bulb and a built-in fan to circulate the air evenly gives you perfectly cooked, succulent food that's cooked far quicker than in a conventional oven.

It includes an oil spray for lighter, healthier cooking, with two heating racks for cooking different foods at the same time without the need for extra pots and pans.

Time to lob out my JML
Do these do the same as the likes of the phillips air fryer or the tefal acti fry (minus the paddle which stirs the food)

I don’t think they rotate. They stay still like an oven.
Recently bought this exact model from Amazon only branded as Tower and I f**king hate it. The wife loves it though, so heat from me.
Prefer the ones with a paddle but the price difference is huge so I've got to say I'm happy with ours. Does crisp stuff up better but as a family of 6 it's a pain moving stuff around as the lower area doesn't cook as well as the top.

Dartford Vader
Strike a light Luke I can feel your f'ing presence.
Luke I am your father I'm paying the bloody child support agency
I want one of these but the family insist we have to have a deep fat fryer
Used one of these to do our turkey this xmas and it was cooked to perfection in two hours!
Crispy outside and moist inside.
Best turkey i have ever had and these are great for chips too!
Got one in the same pricefrom B&M
They use them in Costco to heat the food they're demonstrating and they always seem to do a good job, the only caveat being that some will allow you to change the halogen bulb, others won't.
Heat but from experience the hinged lid version is worth paying extra for
12% with lloyds too 😏
I have a different branded one and just wanted to say that they are brilliant. Use ours almost daily. Particularly good for smaller households.
Bought one for £29.99 a few months back.

The timer, tick tick tick, ping! is a bit 1980s but overall I really like this device.

The glass bowl (NB NOT the electrical part!) fits in top shelf of dishwasher, saves cleaning the oven.

I did baked potatoes last night, massage olive oil, rub in Maldern salt 200° for an hour to hour 30. Turn two or three times. Device is more forgiving than oven, so time doesn't have to be precise. Baked potatoes were A1 even is I say so myself! (No tin foil).

Oven, frozen chips, all good.

Pizza not so. Needs more tests, I'm sure it's possible

Ready meals, add 5 mins to times, taste before plating

At this price if free delivery, bargain, and recommended. (I added a bamboo chopping board to get over £30 and get free delivery.)

Does it save on electric? It must do, device still needs 5 mins to heat up but is much smaller than conventional oven.
Mine is a permanent fixture on worktop, next to instant pot and Sous vide hotukdeals.com/dea…645SV800

8 out of 10, 9 at this price.

Thanks OP. I just bought one. Was looking for a decent price.
Bought. Cheers. Been after one for ages but didn't fancy the daft price. Perfect.

Can't beat an halogen oven, many struggle with them as they don't know the cooking times, just look on the food for the fan assisted oven instructions and just follow them, that's what it is.

Only if you have clearance above ...ie. not under a wall cupboard.
What’s the difference between a halogen air fryer and a bog standard air fryer?
There’s none I’m guessing.

Get one of these. Cook the chips in it. And see if anyone notices.
Thanks op purchased!!

Being a sad middle aged man with nothing better to do. I have worked out that due to our current oven being 2.5kw and this being 1.3kw if this is used for approx 160 hours of it's life then it has paid itself!

Sick of the wife turning the oven on for a garlic baguette , having to wait 12 minutes for it to get to temp , where it looks like the time that it gets up to heat on this is half that!

This is an halogen oven - not an air fryer in the original sense.
A "bog standard air fryer" has some rotating parts to turn the cooking food.
These halogen ovens are much cheaper and I think the manufacturers like people to think they are the more expensive items, which they are not.
Bought at 29.99 before Christmas and used it almost daily since...couldn't decide between a halogen or an air fryer..price persuaded me to this and I've not regretted it... permanent fixture on the work surface (had to reorganise whole kitchen to achieve this space but sooo worth it?

Heat added x
How long do you need to heat these up before adding food?
