    I have the single Tower airfryer but kids have been wanting a dual basket one but can't afford the Dual Ninja... Think this will be on par with that?

    Our DIL has had this since before the madness started and absolutely loves it. We have the Ninja AF300 and looking at the Daewoo you can see the quality of the materials used are not quite up to the quality of the Ninja. BUT Daewoo are more confident in the longevity of their machine as they give a 3 year warranty whereas the much more expensive Ninja has a paltry 12 months.

    The smallest Ninja Dual (the 7.6l AF300) has recently had a price increase and now sells for £220. A not inconsiderable £120 more than this and with 24 months less warranty. I think Ninja may just be staring to price themselves out of the market. (edited)

    Anyone know if these baskets would be able to fit a whole chicken. Saw a recipe for a roast chicken in one of the Ninja models and it looked like it worked really well

    Good question, we have regularly cooked whole chickens up to 1.8kg* in one basket of our Ninja Dual 7.6l and looking at the DIL's Daewoo 8l even though the baskets have a greater capacity they appear to be wider but shallower so a 1.8kg will be a struggle without 'spatchcocking' it (don't ask me to go into detail ). IIRC DIL has successfully cooked whole chickens of 1.3-1.5kg in her Daewoo, with the trivet in place like we do in the Ninja (Important IMO) although I will confirm this when i see her tomorrow.

    * a 1.8kg one in our Ninja

    Thanks, ordered.

    Finally on the air fryer bandwagon

    It can be a confusing new toy. A digital probe thermometer allows you to ’see’ whether the food is hot/cooked inside (external appearance is a poor guide). Hence a really useful accessory, particularly for the newcomer.

    Really good airfryer I got it for a similar price late last year direct from Daewoo. Would highly recommend it

    Just picked one up in Robert Dyas for £109..they have the Salter there for £99 (careful I think it's an older modell,.there's a few Salters about) but even just trying out the drawers on the display models the Daewoo felt better made to me. (edited)

    Don't think you can go wrong with the Daewoo at that price. DIL has had hers for maybe 8/9 months and loves it. (edited)

    so this or Tower Vortex or salter am a single person but looking to cook in both baskets , has anyone tried any of the others ? pros and cons ? any info would be great thanks.

    Not fair me saying which one as I only have actual experience of this one (we bought it last year for the DIL and she loves it). If you are looking for the one that has the best trustpilot rating so probably the least trouble with warranty claims that is a clear win for Salter.

    Ah I bought the salter one from yesterday’s post earlier today! Mind you this looks exactly the same (edited)

    The Salter and The Daewoo 2 drawer Air Fryers look very alike, but there's big differences between them power wise etc. Personally I would just prefer the Daewoo, but I have no idea really

    Any experts here would recommend which one is best ? (edited)
