Daft Punk Random Access Memories MP3 Download £5.00 @ 7Digital

New album out tomorrow, pre order from 7Digital/hmvdigital.

Yes you don't get anything physical but its still cheaper than anywhere else.

Never pre-ordered an mp3 album before but it looks like you pay now and it unlocks tomorrow...hoping that means midnight so I can listen to it on the way to work in the morning.

First deal post, so be gentle. I had a look around but the cheapest I could see was £7.49 at amazon though that does come with a digital booklet.

This will probably be on Amazon's mp3 album of the week tomorrow and will likely be cheaper. Just a heads up.

Good price. I'd say the price is much better than the album though.

Got my Vinyl on Sat via daft punks web site £19 shipped.

it leaked on monday though...

For £5 I'll take a punt, based on the talent of their previous work.

Hot deal, thanks OP.

can u get many flacs of new popular bands such as this album?

Album is almost certainly entirely digitally recorded straight to digital media. A CD is uncompressed, so lossless by definition, and as good as you're gonna get.

I.e. Make your own FLAC from the CD if you wanted (not sure why though)

Album is almost certainly entirely digitally recorded at 24bit/192kHZ. A CD is 16bit/44.1kHZ, so lossy by definition, and not as good as you're gonna get.

Top record completely digitally recorded tho so 320kbps version is pretty much as good as gets. Unless you have 40k's worth of hifi and superhuman hearing? Enjoy music forget format wars!

Hdtracks.com is the biggest site, but it covers a wide variety of stuff. But you need to spoof your ip address to buy stuff

Lol .... 40 grand, your way off.

A proper 96/24 recorded version will blow any cd out of the water. And under a grand is enough to hear it in its glory

im tone deaf, dont give a s**t cant tell the difference

We're talking semantics on lossless, but do you think you could tell the difference if I played you one track raw and one from a CD?

Seems they're happy to get any kind of revenue these days.

15 years ago a CD format of an album would cost anything from £13-£15.

You shouldn't comment on such things when you don't know what you're talking about.

Such a disappointment this album is!!!!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I don't understand the big appeal of vinyl for quality of music. I'm not particularly a big fan of constant crackling in the background...
