Seems a great price for this speaker. I’m a long time owner of the Zensor 5 and have just upgraded based on this price, typically £700+

Not sure they’ve been this cheap since Black Friday last year

When German hi-fi magazine, STEREO, reviewed the Dali Zensor 7 speakers, they awarded them a full five out of five stars. When it comes to providing a full range sound at an affordable price, it's hard to see how they could fail.

One of the main reasons for buying a larger floorstanding speaker is sheer bass power and dynamic response. The Zensor 7's don't disappoint. With a cabinet almost one metre tall and twin 7" bass cones, the Zensor 7 was always going to be a powerful contender. When compared to the smaller Zensor 5, the 7 goes lower, has greater depth and can sustain deep bass notes for longer. It also has an effortless dynamic reach that makes it ideal for all types of music from large scale orchestral to pulsating Dance music.

Yet what sets the Zensor 7 apart from other large speakers at its price is the quality of sound. The twin bass cones feature Dali's wood fibre construction that's usually only used in their more expensive designs. This lightweight yet rigid material helps give the Zensor 7 speakers a refined and detailed, as well as powerful sound. Partnering these impressive bass units is a similarly high performing treble unit. Soft dome construction gives upper notes a smooth yet precise sound. When taken as a whole the Zensor Seven is simply one of the most realistic sounding floorstanders at its price point - with the refinement to match the effortless power.

As you'd expect from this high quality Danish brand, the Zensor 7's are also exceptionally well made. The solid cabinet has an attractive glossy front baffle, with recessed drive units for a smoother style. Contrasting with the gloss black cabinet are the aluminium supports which give the design a stylish edge whilst also performing a practical function of support.

For a bigger sound in medium to large sized rooms, the Dali Zensor 7 is a force to be reckoned with.

The new DALI ZENSOR series is a genuine and affordable hi-fi loudspeaker unmistakably based on heritage from DALI’s high-end series. And packed with in-house technology, new ideas, and its very own DALI personality.

Consisting of four models, the ZENSOR’s cover every need from a compact stereo to an ambitious multi-channel set up. The smallest model includes integrated wall bracket for easy mounting, while both floor standing models are elevated from the floor by aluminium bases to refine acoustics and stability.

Last not least, the visual appearance is an eye pleaser - integrated in a high gloss lacquered front baffle as a natural extension of the sleek cabinet. The

ZENSOR design is contemporary, lasting, and stylish.

It looks like your next upgrade should be a bigger TV, your speakers are dominating the room!

I'm debating getting these but wondering if they're worth the money Vs the newer model (Oberon I think they're called)?

Edit: another question, are these worth the extra £120 over the Zensor 5s? My living room is roughly 4m x 3m.

I have the 7's in a room 5.5m x 5.5m. I suspect you would be better saving the cash and going for the 5's. I only got the 7's as they were in the BF sale.
another DALI fan here. Have 7.1 config and love the kit! Cinema experience at home.

I have the 5s in a small room 4m x 4m and they are perfect.
Bought a pair of Oberon 5's earlier this month from Exceptional AV. Missed their demo pair at £499 (down from £699) but they let me have a brand new pair for the same price.

Great service from them and the speakers sound awesome!

How do these compare to the Tannoy XT 6fs posted a month back (same price)

Have a pair of dali Spektor 2 currently so debating an upgrade 😁

The 5 is a great great speaker the biggest difference for me when I sound tested was the sheer power of the 7’s, the 5 are crisp and clear and still sound great I’ve got them in 6x4 room
Nice deal!
Got a set of Dali Spektor and they are bloody amazing. Can only imagine these are even better
I'm sort of glad these are way to big for my room (3.5x5.5). Very good deal if you have the room to match their power.
It's a lot of speakers for the price.
I want a pair but £500 I don't have
I have 5.1 setup with smaller and they are pretty good.
A proper Dali speaker would be lobster shaped.....
Not quite the same but I have the Dali katch. Build quality is excellent. Amazing sound. No issues with connection etc. Expensive for a bluetooth speaker but dali obviously know how to make a brilliant product.
I had the 5's and have to say they were brilliant but not too much bass.I bet the 7s are far better.
How are these compared to Kef Q500? Worth the upgrade??

But these only go down to 40hz.
oh no, I have zensor 1s on my turntable and more money than sense and I'm imagining these speakers in their place
Speakers should be the most expensive part of your set-up so that when you upgrade other components you hear the full benefit. Also, I really recommend a home demo when buying speakers, they can sound different at home as they do in the shop.
Fan of Dali Zensors. Got the smaller walnut versions for my analogue set up. Niiiiice.

What a great price and set. Make sure you have the space in your living room to get the most sound of them. Bigger is not always better. The smaller version might work better. They need good breathing space behind a wall.

How big is your room?
How would you compare these to the Q Acoustic 3050 s people?

I did, you're welcome.
Not exactly on topic but does anyone know how much smaller active speakers like the kef lsx stack up to this price range passive floorstanding with an amp? Or if active floorstanding ones exist? Trying to cut down on clutter but don't want a soundbar. Cheers anyone

P.S my room is 20 foot by 11 foot, speakers will be relatively close to the wall maybe a foot or so away, and I'll be about 8 foot away

LGc9 65inch as soon as I spot a deal
If you don't mind a refurb:

RS Refurb Dali Oberon 7 (Black) £599 richersounds.com/cle…tml

Dali Oberon 5 (Walnut) £499: richersounds.com/cle…tml

Could just be someone realised they were too large for there place and returned them.

Check the manual as I know my Dali speakers state to keep them a certain distance away from walls. Othewise the bass can be too boomy. Depends where the bass ports are located on your speakers. Some speakers have rear ports and some are front. Have to say my Dali floorstanders are rather hypnotic with there pure 'neutral' sound really distinguishing bass, mids and treble yet combining them all together too and sound amazing also at really low volumes. By hypnotic I mean I can just get lost in time listening to music as it just sounds so good and just want to listen for longer. My speakers need 100 hrs initial use. Long way off that yet so not turned them up as I really don't want to damage them. Even though mine were a RS refurb pair they are immaculate. Saved so much money on them too as I was really lucky to get a major bargain. Even the staff in some other stores couldn't believe the deal when I was seeking some advice about other speakers to go with them. I took a gamble and didn't listen to them before purchasing. The reviews available seemed to fit with the type of speaker I like - a more neutral soudning one. I know some people like lots of bass and may find a nore neutral speaker 'boring'. I am intrgued as to what the next couple of versions up in the range are going to sound like.

Hope the above two deals are of help. Not worth me posting as a deal, as they are likely to just have one pair of each available.
Got the Zensor 1 and they are unbelievable. I've had so many hifi speakers and nothing comes close to them. They sound like what i imagine a set of £1000 speakers would sound like.
