Great price! Even cheaper if you combine it with one of Ocado's £20 off £80 order

Dalwhinnie Winter's Gold is a 2015 addition to the Highland distillery's range. It's inspired by the chilly climate up at Scotland's highest and coldest distillery. As its label states it was ‘crafted by the cold'. Dalwhinnie Winter's Gold is an innovative bottling from Diageo offering a different kind of whisky drinking experience. Dalwhinnie Winter's Gold is in the same vein as the 15 Year Old with aromas of flowers, honeyed with a hint of peat and green fruit - apples and fresh pear. Each sip is soft on the palate, with slightly warming honeyed fruit. The finish offers a soothing texture, as light floral notes mingle with soft fruits and just a touch of spice. Made using whisky distilled in the cold Scottish winter, it is intended to be served straight from the freezer, delivering richness and sweetness as the glass warms up. Winter's Gold is the perfect gift for drinkers looking for an introduction to Dalwhinnie and single malt whiskies

bought this when it was on offer at Amazon and was disappointed. Bit of a gimmick, wanting you to put in freezer which does nothing to improve the chemical afterburn. Better Whiskys to be had at this price point IMO

appreciate your opinion. I posted it because this is sold for £40 elsewhere, so for £26.45 is a good deal (33% off).

its regularly on price for £25 in the supermarkets and to be honest for the money you can get much better. highland park for £25 and old pulteney for £24 on amazon at the moment which are far superior .

Again, it's not whether you can get for £25 better value but whether you can get this specific product for better price. Appreciate you can get other Whiskys for £25.

And by the way, when you say 'regularly' on other supermarkets. This is sold for £40 in Tesco and Waitrose at the moment (I checked before I posted the deal).

I remember buy it a whiel ago when it was £25 in tesco, I quite liked it, but was glad I didn't pay more for it.
It does taste different depending on whether you have it from the freezer, sharper and crisper and some of spices are more distinct.

I'd be surprised if they manage to sell this at its 'standard' price.
Terrible whisky worth nothing more than £20.

Voted cold, regular price 25, tastes less. Not worth buying. Rather a Aberlour 12 or Aberfeldy at this price
