Dalwhinnie Winter's Gold Scotch Whisky (70cl) was £39.45 now £25.00

Maintaining the traditional floral freshness that typifies Dalwhinnie's style, this whisky is a richer, more unctuous style that's designed to be served straight from the freezer. Doing this makes the alcohol less obvious and brings out some of the sweeter notes. Perfect with after-dinner treats.

Dalwhinnie Winter's Gold is a highland Single Malt from the highest and coldest distillery in Scotland.

An indulgent, honeyed Dalwhinnie that is comforting, rich and sweet, with notes of heather and peat and a spicy warmth. Best served straight from the freezer.

From Scotland's highest and coldest distillery that owes its rich golden character to the cold winters that shaped it.

Winter's Gold makes an ideal gift as an introduction to Dalwhinnie and Single Malt Whiskies.

It's very much a £25 whiskey, it's £25 every xmas in Tesco and you don't see it the rest of the year. Not a fan personally.

husband likes this one

Jim Murray's Whisky Bible 2017 gives this 95 out of 100, which takes some doing. Nice little tipple, but defo not worth £39 and always on offer at various times of year/stores.
Always good to check here for best prices - docs.google.com/spr…dit

Order online at Waitrose and if its your first online order you can apply the £20 off coupon as long as the total order is over £80. I just bought this and a couple of others to tip the cart over the £80. Brought the effective price for this one down to about £19.
