Dangerous Driving Xbox One - £15.99

From the creative talent behind the genre-defining Burnout series, Dangerous Driving puts aggression back into the racing genre, recapturing the spirit of the past and taking it to a new place.

Dangerous Driving is a game about real driving. The sort of driving you want to do when no one else is looking. The sort of driving you’d love to do if only everyone else would get OUT OF THE DAMN WAY.

This game gives you the chance to live out that fantasy. To floor it in everyday cars, at high speeds, weaving in and out of traffic and slamming the other cars right off the road.

This is a game built in the spirit of the classic arcade racing games of the 80’s and 90’s. It’s about speed, driving skill and beautiful powerslides around epic corners.

It’s also about all out aggression, instant retaliation and sweet, sweet revenge.

The more dangerously you drive, the faster you can go!

Features:

  • Bump, shunt, slam, scratch and scrape your way around 30 different courses set across seven different locations.
  • Takedown your opponent in the adrenaline-fueled Takedown Races, chain your way to perfection in Heatwave, or rule every road in Road rage.
  • Switch on your Sirens and apprehend Wanted Suspects in Pursuit Mode or be the last car standing in Eliminator.
  • Players race against remorseless AI drivers in 8 different event types, unlocking new deadly cars and aggressive abilities as they progress.
  • Coming in the first downloadable update Month 1 - take the action online against seven other players

Includes a BONUS game: Danger Zone 2:

Danger Zone 2 takes the crash testing action out of the Test Area and onto real public roads. A high-speed driving game featuring speed, traffic and crashes, Danger Zone 2 lets players loose onto the Freeways of the USA, the Motorways of the UK and the Autovias of Spain.

Features:
  • Drive at high speed on real life roads crowded with everyday traffic
  • Shunt, Slam, Flip, Roll and Jacknife as many vehicles as possible
  • Create chaos across 23 of the world’s most notorious accident blackspots set in 17 unique locations around the world
  • 8 vehicles to drive and smash: including a Sedentary Sedan, a Chaotic Coupe, a Really Crazy Taxi, a Euro Truck and a Formula One car
  • Objective Based Gameplay – Complete ‘Run Up’ Objectives to earn Bonus Cash in each level.

I originally wrote a comment about what was wrong with this game but because i put a word in that was apparently not allowed it was deleted.

So in a nutshell. Terrible game. No music unless you have spotify premium. Rubber banding. Glitches galore. Not a patch on burnout games. Just felt sterile and boring. Play any burnout game instead of this. Just my opinion of course.
Bring back Destruction Derby
Fun fact, the game isn't awful, it's decent gets better with each update
If you want a HD Burnout experience, I'd probably go for Burnout Revenge on Xbox 360.

Heat for the price but checking reviews on this I'm thinking Burnout Paradise Remastered would be better value and a better overall game.

It’s awful, such a poor imitation of the original burnout games, doesn’t remotely feel fun

Not sure that rubber-banding is a negative given checking other racers is the best way to build boost. In the third game you could get so far ahead of the pack that you'd be stuck building boost in oncoming if you lost your chain. It was such a big problem they introduced "traffic checking" in 'Revenge'. The banding here isn't any worse than it was in 'Paradise'.
Buy Burnout Revenge instead and get an infinitely better game!!!!

Still no music without a premium Spotify account though?

I really wanted this game to be the modern Burnout game that Paradise isn't but it was broken at launch.
Patches can massively improve a game (e.g. NMS) but people rarely change their mind from 1st impressions (e.g. NMS).
Thanks for posting OP, but this is a terrible game.
Stick to the originals.

The playlist is pretty ropey too. A lot of unknown and unsigned bands etc. Not sure how much money they actually saved leaving it all off.

As I said, it was in my opinion and felt that it was off. theres rubber banding done well and rubber banding not done well as it was here.
Yeah it's a shame about that but it's kinda understandable since licensing music can be expensive

Bring back Destruction Derby
Good price for both games, currently it's £19.99 in game, so this price is a bargain.

both?
Dangerous Driving sounds like the type of game you make on Game Dev Tycoon when you're not very creative and stuck for names
Adorablemunchkin20/07/2019 22:55

both?

If you buy it digital you only get Dangerous Driving but if you buy the disc version you get Danger Zone 2 as well.

Danger Zone 2 on PSN on it's own is £14.99 and Dangerous Driving is £24.99 on PSN.

So £15.99 is a bargain for the two games.

Bring back Destruction Derby

I've got high hopes that Wreckfest will scratch the Destruction Derby itch!
Tempted as I had my eye on this... Still feeling too cheapo for the mo I think though lol. Still too many to finish as it is too. Perhaps when I've done wipeout.
Also non in stock in Argos but same price at Amazon.

Bring back Destruction Derby

Wreakfest came out last year on Steam and is soon to be released on xbone and ps4, its a bit like destruction derby
I bought this a few weeks ago for pc on the epic store deal, claimed a refund promptly, it's just not good, I loved the burnout games, except for paradise, if you have a xbox there real burnout games on backwards compatability which are much better!

Saying that, good price if you want it!
