Thanks OP, gone for one at that price.
Would like to get this, not sure why the two seater version is more expensive.

Bargain
We have a max 3 seater power recliner. Bought 2015 from scs. It is used everyday. But its already knackered. The motor on 1 side went at weekend. £1150. Nothing is made to last these days. This one has to be bad quality even at the original price.

Did you take the 5 year extended recliner warranty?

I paid seven hundred quid for one in the sale at Argos, supposed to be leather but was in deed leather faced, Argos did not want to know when the facing started to come away, so stuck with a load of rubbish, at least this rubbish is only 300 notes. The real truth is even if you pay a grand plus the seller will do his utmost to get out of repairs, claiming the fault is not covered by the warranty or it has been abused. Does anyone really believe the prices and claims from people like SCS?

If only. We actually bought sofa 2014. We had a brown one with whitish stitching. The leather on the arms started to come off after a few months. We were given a replacement sofa, same model but went for the same colour stitching. That one had a motor that when retracted the motor kept humming. Motor was replaced. So effectively this one is less than 5 years old. But original order was over 5 yrs. How that would fair even if we had had cover is another question.
I think all these sofas are cheap. You can pay over 4 years so less than 20 quid a month. If you get 5 years out of it anything above is a bonus. Costs you a few quid a week. We do have a more conventional 2 + 3 seater in main lounge. Not recliner. Hardly used. Mostly weekends. It's older than our recliner and still like new.
These recliners are bound to be more susceptible to wear and tear, especially used every day.

Nope. As ive said. 1150 for 5 years. And we had issues from day 1. But they were sorted. Just took time.
I would only by this one if it was for occasional use. But then why bother with a recliner. Get footstools maybe.
We do like to recline.
I wouldnt recommend. We have one almost identical. After 3 years a split appeared and we thought someone actually slashed the sofa. However the last 6 months its gotten worse so I bought a sofa cover to cover the ugliness until we can move home and replace it.

Even if you pay 1200 quid at dfs. Its faux on rear. Unless you pay extra.

Is it black?
Can't see any reviews for any of their products, has anyone else seen?

You are right, must say that most of these companies use third party insurers for the warranty, you only have to read the reviews about these insurance companies and how they have a load of excuses why they wont pay out. Argos sent a repair company out to mine, from the start I knew i was on to a loser, despite being only 6 months old. I personally would not trust any of the big stores to sell me a sofa, They are all over you when you are going to buy, not so helpful if something goes wrong though

Yea true, what I meant was the last deal 2 seater the seating is claimed real leather with back as faux. In comparison this offer seems to suggest whole unit is faux. For the price if you get anything over 2 years of use then it's not too bad, just don't expect for this to last for many years
ordered, thanks!
I personally never buy cheap Sofas, TV's or Beds as you spend most of your life either sitting, watching or sleeping.
