Been waiting for this to drop from ~£17 since release. No idea if this is a temporary / black friday drop but Google Play still has it as £16.99 in HD (and £14.49 in SD). The first season was excellent and the second enjoyable... looking forward to seeing where the third one takes it.

Torrent it, syfy cancelled it.

Cancelled leaving the final episode on a major cliffhanger so if you buy it best not watch it to the end.

Started off well and kinda lost interest towards the middle of S03. Seems like a good thing now.

That's frustrating. Networks should be obliged to either give shows enough notice to not end on a cliff hanger or commission a final episode.

No season 3, despite the efforts of the creator. It didn't get picked up quickly enough and the cast and crew have moved on

Damn didn't know it had been cancelled

I enjoyed this and given that Season 3 even got an after episode spin off in "After Dark" I took that as a good sign it was likely to continue. Sadly not. Season 3 is worth watching, even if there is the inevitable cliffhanger showing more was planned but never picked up by the channel.

Searching for the story atleast came across some partial good news - Killjoys - which SyFy had paired up with Dark Matter, has been renewed for a final 2 seasons.

The Expanse is also good.

I met Melissa a year ago and she told me that her contract was till Season 8.
I am disappointed that Dark Matter has been cancelled. I bet there was so much more material for 5 more seasons.

The writers had a 5 season story plan, when they found out about the cancellation they offered to wrap up in 6 episodes, this was refused. I think they even offered something smaller again this was refused :(. Makes no sense, even financials didn't indicate cancellation.
