The best price its ever been on amazon, according to the three wise camels.
Recently Novatech were doing this for the same price and I think amazon must have price matched. Has excellent reviews and is nearly on par with the Noctua D15.
The cooler is huge though, and it weighs like a brick!

I'd be very surprised if you get lower temps than you do with the Noctua, that cooler is pretty much top end, the only thing likely to beat it is another Noctua.
I got one of those last week (I presume you mean the ones with the coloured mounts), great fan and very quiet.
It actually not that bad - people fail to read instructions and complain - if you mount motherboard to cooler instead of cooler to motherboard seems to be best way
I went for this cooler as could not get Noctua to fit and when researching it was actually not to far behind the noctua
Yeah after watching a video it is super simple to install. It has taken my Xeon 1231 down from 40 degree to 30. I used to use a hyper 212 with a noctua fan. I was concerned about noise levels as the silent PC review wasnt overly favourable, but I am really happy. My PC is basically silent now.
Most benchmarks show the Noctua as the better cooler but I went for this one as it's not far off and it's a lot nicer looking imo. If you already have the Noctua not much point in changing.
What rig are you running that a D14 won't keep it cool enough, or is it a reduction in noise you're looking for?
This is what put me off these. I like the look and design, but where the noctua is to easy to install (we need some sort of challenge) the BQ looked like a broken window waiting to happen.
Anway, back on topic, hot because I always liked the aesthetics of that model and the price is decent.
