Heat, but hardlocked at 900p apparently. Could do with an X patch.
Great price mate. Been playing. Bloodborne past two months. Not exactly relevant but FROMSOFTWARE really knows the art how to make a game unfairly challenging yet keeping the player motivated not to give up. I had my copy of bloodborne goty sat on shelf for nearly three years and since it went on ps plus and after trying the game I finally opened the game to play the dlc too. Next plan would be to play dark souls. Rant over. Heat added.

I wouldn't agree that it's unfair at all. Everything can be exploited. I don't ever recall a boss or enemy having some crazy, unblock able spam attack in any if their games that I ever thought was unfair. Everytime I died I put it down to my own lack of abilities.

I did not cheese any boss, but I was forced to do it with Amygdala in Cursed chalice dungeon. The boss in that dungeon had 4x times more health than the normal boss and the dungeon was reducing the stats including the health bar to half. It took me two days of fighting, using different weapons, different approaches and in the end I was forced to cheese him using the Ludwig sword trick...

I haven't completed BB or done the Chalice dungeon yet so I can't comment on that. I've played the Souls games more than BB. There were some placed that I thought sucked in that compared to DS though.
I'm stuck at gherman the first hunter, dam that old guy hits hard

I platinumed Bloodborne yesterday and planning to go through the DLC before starting DS. I am standing on the other side, lol. I have not played DS and BB was my first experience with soul games and I did love it. I only ever looked at the videos of DS on youtube and I love the mechanics in BB more than DS (by the look of it). What part of BB sucks, may I ask? To me it was an amazing experience... Except for the chalice dungeons that was really a grind but still satisfying.

Use arcane on him. He is weak to arcane. By now you should have some gems with arcane power, use those to modify your weapons. Also, visceral attacks works neatly on him too.

Thanks I'll give it a go, I'm probably weak on arcane but I'll see what I can do. Apparently he is harder if your insight is high and I'm Max what a great game though

Hmmm. I had 70 insights when fighting him. If you want to level up quick, then follow this video, no cheating but still very quick to farm blood echos. No need for chalice dungons too.

I found Djura, the tower gunner in Old Yharnam to be a pain and also the boss by the rocky cliff. I can't recall it's name, but I felt like I couldn't quite get to grips with its attack patterns. I don't think the game sucked however. It's great. I'm a big fan of Souls games but DS1 holds a special place in my heart.

edit-Darkbeast Paarl is the one.

I killed Djura without knowing what I am doing. He actually jumped off the tower himself for some funny reason. To be honest with you IMO, the bosses in the game are far more easier than the bosses you encounter in chalice dungeons. For example the Rom you fight in the lake (which was really annoying anyway) is much easier than the one you (may choose to) fight later on.
I found DS3 the easiest / most accessible of the three Souls games, certainly in terms of access to reinforcement items (Titanite etc) and the ability to level up your player (I reached level 100 with very little farming, most of which was done early game). I slogged through most of the game using an Uchigatana that I got early on. Got help beating the Dancer and the Nameless King but otherwise mostly solo'd it.

Arcane honestly doesn't scale all that well until around 50 or so, as far as I can remember you are better off parrying him with a blunderbuss then riposte/visceral.

Well the Xbox edition does come with a free copy of dark souls 1, compared to players needing to receive buy the remastered version of PS4 For like 30 quid.

Yeah I did the same before I found out that it's good to keep him alive. I would've assumed so. I only had issue with that one boss, and maybe the first just because it was early on.

One I struggled much was Rom, I remember. That's again aside from bosses in chalice dungeons.

Sadly, I did not invest on upgrading the threaded cane. I saw a video on Youtube someone else doing the same thing.
Bought this direct from TGC the last time it was posted. Comes with a code for DS1 in the box... Sold that on eBay for £7 seeing as I already had a physical copy and had also used some points from my TGC account, so basically ended up with this game for the price of a jug of milk

Threaded cane is the best weapon. Good range and crowd control plus serration for beasts. Although it's damage is a bit pants.

I think it pretty much depends on your playing style. I play aggressive and do short-range attacks. That's why I was fully stuck with Amygdala's boss fight... You may be surprised but I did fight all bosses using Saw Cleaver. My damage was 180+379.

Yeah ive done saw cleaver, beast claws, blades of Mercy. Saw cleaver is pretty much the most versatile weapon in the game and apparently the best starter weapon. Not as good as the cane though

The superior console

that's a joke. right? own both xbox one s and ps4 pro. Two things better on xbox for me, i like xbox firmware more and ea access. Well i prefer shape of xbox controller but i hate that u need to buy play and charge kit for it, that's not acceptable for 50£ device. Otherwise ps4 with their exclusives won current gen console battle big time.
DS3 feels miles better on ps4 pro.
Re-listed so back in stock.

Sounds rational - buying a game for more than one console so that you can post comparisons on this forum.

I am still new to DS3. I have bought it first on xbox few weeks back and frame rate dips were quite annoying. Last week there were pricing error on CEX so I have bought same game for PS4. And it is better on ps4 pro. Don't know about x1x... I just don't see point on spending all that money for new console, when only exclusive i like for xbox is forza horizon.

I owned both. PS4 is simply glorious. The Xbox one is now gone. I sold it for dirt cheap, that's how badly I wanted it out of my house.
