Yeah best to wait for the GOTY edition to drop. I myself will probably bite at £20
"Finally drops to a decent price..."

Absolute hogwash. There's never been a price that Dark Souls III wasn't decent at.

It's a truly stunning game and worth every penny you'll pay for it.

We're not all mugs mate.

Who pays 50+ for a game only to see the price fall while it sits on the shelf most of the time.

Firstly, you're a mug if you paid £50 because I remember paying around £35 for it on release.

Secondly, anyone paying £50 for a game to watch it sit on the shelf really is a mug but I'm pretty sure that doesn't happen.

Dark Souls III is a game with many, many hours of fantastic gameplay that is near-infinitely better value than an equivalent movie or book. Even if it was £50, which it wasn't, then it'd still be good value.

And then after that, if you're really bothered about it, you can trade it in, instead of it sitting on a shelf.

If you can't take all that into account, you're not a mug - you're just an idiot.

Great price for a game that's worth it at £11.95, £35 or £50. Heat added.

Oh and by the way, you know what couldn't be made if people only bought games at £11.95, given how much they actually cost to develop these days?

Dark Souls III and pretty much every other game you likely play. So you're welcome for me subsiding your parasitic gameplay habits

Not bad, for a crybaby.
Great game, loved it
Such escalation. Heat. Paid £35 at launch. One of the few games that I would ever bother with on day one. Season pass in sale for £12. Caned the lot, yum yum

I don't have the season pass, have you played and is it a good addition to the series?

Says he too scared to go in at launch, and has to go in not only at a skinflint price but also once everything's been discovered by us brave enough to go in first.

Includes Dark Souls 1 digital code (backwards compatible)
Quality game
For somebody that has never played any of the Dark Souls games, would it be better (ie. more accessible/enjoyable) to start with DS2 or DS3?

I'd still say do the first one. The 360 graphics still hold up, looks better than a lot of current gen. Or wait for Remastered to come out. I think it could even be the best one. They're all phenomenal.

The cheaper, the better. For me at least though, the environments were awesome. And there's some nice, horrible boss fights too. It's been a while though, and I've done Bloodborne since that, so I might be confusing all the games levels slightly! Maybe have a look on metacritic if you need a second opinion, that's what I always do anyways.

start with 1 its the easiest of the 3 then go 3 then 2 as thats the hardest n longest and most has content
Tempting price even though i got lost very early into the first one. Fought enemies and then couldn't find a way to progress so turned it off. It was free with gwg ages back though so might revisit sometime. I do prefer my gaming experiences to be a bit fairer though
The first Dark Souls is getting a remastered release at the end of this month. It’s a proper remaster rather than the backwards compatibility version that is currently available So shouldn’t suffer the original frame rate issues on the Xbox 360.

I never like to wait too long for Dark Souls prices to drop to bargain bin levels because you miss out on the online aspect of the game which adds an incredible dimension to the gameplay mechanic. So much fun.
Yeah good price - I'm still holding out hope that they patch it for xbox one x....

The dlc is really good. But don't expect to stroll through them with a few lightning arrows
Not sure why people like DS. Kinda boring for me but the thing that really made me say GTFO was when I discovered there was a wall with a fire behind it. Yeah, this game took a long time anyway walking here and there over and over, but I'm not wasting more time hitting walls just in case study are false. That's just a p take to me.
Dark Souls ,I absolutely hate.
My copy arrived and it included a download code for the original Dark Souls too! Bargain.
happy with the purchase, ordered Friday arrived Saturday. So far so good, managed to kill second boss yesterday, can't wait to get back to it after work. free copy of DS1 as well

Start with bloodborne if you have ps4. If not then DS3. Losing your health bar in DS2 after every death is most unfun game mechanics ever. Graphics looks dated on DS2 as well. I think DS3 is a lot more friendlier to newcomers then DS2.
