Synopsis

During the early days of World War II, with the fall of France imminent, Britain faces its darkest hour as the threat of invasion looms. As the seemingly unstoppable Nazi forces advance, and with the Allied army cornered on the beaches of Dunkirk, the fate of Western Europe hangs on the leadership of the newly-appointed British Prime Minister Winston Churchill (Academy Award nominee Gary Oldman).

While maneuvering his political rivals, he must confront the ultimate choice: negotiate with Hitler and save the British people at a terrible cost or rally the nation and fight on against incredible odds. Directed by Joe Wright, DARKEST HOUR is the dramatic and inspiring story of four weeks in 1940 during which Churchill’s courage to lead changed the course of world history.

The most expensive of the subscription services mentioned. Netflix costs …The most expensive of the subscription services mentioned. Netflix costs me 5.99pm, Amazon 7.99pm, bbc £13.50 !

You're watching Netflix in standard def?

Also, what's Netflix's Radio output like?

Also, where can I find details on how to watch Netflix without an internet connection that I have to also pay for?

Where I find information on where Netflix saved the over the air digital broadcast system after commercialised TV networks failed it, twice?

Sorry to go on about this but, where can I find information on where Netflix helped fund fibre broadband rollout to areas in the UK that had poor internet?

One more thing, where can I find Netflix's world class dedicated children's channels?

As I am sure you are well aware - the BBC is NOT a subscription service like those you mention. You can try and kid yourself on that it is all you like, but I think that may say more about you than anything else...

You say the BBC saved all these things and invested in broadband etc - but they did so with our money!

Whats your point?
If you own this and Dunkirk there is a good mashup which takes this mediocre movie and makes it a bit more palatable from maple-films. You will need broadband to download it plus it’s only in HD not 4K so if you invested in a 4K Tv and all you watch is 4K content then this may not be for you.
Watched it & recorded it on BBC1 for free
