First deal so hopefully it helps someone.
Looks good value, especially with the code 25% code 'CAR25'.
Free delivery too.

Videos on YT look to be decent quality and not like some of the cruddy VGA cameras around. Uses the Novatek 96658 chipset which is good.

Does a Gsensor find a gspot? Asking for a friend
Would this be any good for using as a reversing camera?

I'd expect this to go lava-hot if it does

Do you mean a rear-view camera? Yep, should be just fine. I use the 12V socket in my boot to power my rear dash-cam. Otherwise you'd just have to run the cable to the front of the car or get it hard-wired into the ignition.

You will most likely struggle to see much on the 1.5" display.

From the you tube video I thought it looked possible to connect the camera to a smart phone app?

Yes it looks possible but I would check with your insurer as it will usually be classed as a vehicle modification. Also using your mobile in this way whilst moving your vehicle could put you in (more) trouble in the event of a accident. A bit of a tricky one I would seek clarification on myself.

I'd say no then - its not suitable for the way you want to use it.
