Thought this was a fantastic offer if you are after a Data SIm. EE are offering 30GB of 4G for just £16 per month. Better yet, this is on a 30 day contract.

Would be perfect for a tablet, maybe a WiFi dongle in the car, or even for a holiday.

Voucher should automatically apply, but have added just in case

Be carefull with some of these EE Data Offers, I had the same deal last year, £14.50 for 30gb, on a Monthly, they dont always allow Roaming despite I was told they would by EE, I had to upgrade to a different more expensive Plan to get Euro Data Roaming included, and you dont get the Full 30Gb abroad, only 15gb Max.

Read the full T&C dont take EE's Customer Services or Chat word for what you get
If you can be bothered, generally cheaper to just get a high data SIM and tether off your phone.

It says in basket use data in eu

So did mine when I bought it, my Son used it on his Hols and I get charged for the Roaming side, went round inn circles with EE, only to be told wrong Package and all they would do is Upgrade me to a different but very simular plan.

Personally, speaking from experience now I wouldnt bother with these anymore, theres no Mins or Text, they can be used for Mins and Text by mistake but you charged the Earth. As said your better off using your normal Phone Sim to Tether as you only get 15Gb Max on these EE Data Sims when Roaming anyway, which isnt much these days compared to normal Pay Monthly Packages now.

Better in my opinion but that usually all depends where you locate the router. In a higher room and facing the mast is always a good idea if possible.

What speeds do you get between the 2?

Just done a quick test... see the top two below. The LTE one is the phone. The router is 25Mbps. Not the fastest but I'm out in the sticks where fibre is even slower.
The faster readings were when the EE data SIM was being used elsewhere in a Mifi.37032824-zk6qr.jpg

As it comes. It's located in an upstairs bedroom and plenty fast enough for our needs and as I said, faster than fibre here.

But still seem to have £24 loyalty on my account..... any thoughts? Do I get to keep this?cheer

I have this for £16.99.
Been out of contract on it for some time.
Tried all the other providers, but for me this has been the best in terms of signal and speed across the country.

Shame another sim for one of the kids is so ball aching expensive. They won't budge on the lower data sims at all.

I think you can get unlimited everything on 3 for £20 a month on a 12 …I think you can get unlimited everything on 3 for £20 a month on a 12 month deal. Pos £70 back quidco, haven’t checked may have expired I’m currently with EE on a 32GB contract, fabulous at the time for £15-17 at the moment. As soon as the 3 card starts working as advertised EE will be shown the door. 3 will steal the market unless EE wake up.

I'm not sure they will. I have this deal on EE and it seems that the data only Sims get much better speeds/quality than the ones that are regular phone packages with mins, texts and data. Maybe they prioritise the traffic. Someone here might know definitively.

I got rid of my home fibre and now just use this, it's so fast.
Would nt threes all you can eat data offering be a better option as sims can now be used in any devices..?
Plusnet all the way.
Max plan free roaming in USA, Canada, Mexico, New Zeland , Australia and EU. Good deal.
can you use data in the USA does anybody know?

Yes you can.
Ok so this is weird. I already have a PAYG EE sim that i sometimes use as hotspot for overwatch on pc beacuse when my flatmates stream something on netflix it's impossible for me to play using our broadband because of lag. So my PAYG has always worked flawlessly but i only have 8 gb allowance so I went for this deal and this new sim has reeeeally bad connection problems, as every minute or so I keep getting crazy high latency and disconnections. I have contacted EE and they said everything seems ok on their side, and suggested going to a EE shop for a sim swap in case this may be faulty. Any suggestions?
EE change allowances on short term offers like i change shirts. They mess with the daily and monthly cap speeds, totally untrusty.
Dont waste time with them.

Did it stack?
I have just been told I can get 100gb data and unlimited minutes + texts with EE! (For 20 quid)

You honestly have to annoy them. I rang up 4x in one week and got all sorts of prices. The best i got was 100gb for 24 quid with student discount. They then called me back the following day matching 3's deal at 20 quid without student discount

I got EE sim only (4G) 100GB per month plus Apple Music, plus BT sport plus £100 Amazon voucher all for £20 per month! So for an additional £4 per month I get all that (on a unlimited call/text etc basis) and if you offset the Amazon voucher then works out actually much less than this data only sim

How did you manage to get this? I got 20gb u/l mins & texts for £20, do you think i'd be eligible for this?

Sorry bud, I got mixed up here, this is a data only sim isn’t it? I was thinking it was a call/text/data sim, I’d still pay £20 for 100Gb data though, it’d fit nicely in my EE WiFi box
Ee confirm rpi is 2.7% which will be applied next month March 19 to all of those that took this out ... also it’s added to the full bill before any discounts are applied..
