Yes, agree the postage is high, but as it has an extra 20% off on the sale price it cushions the blow, especially if you're buying something else too. It's still very cheap for a backpack £7.35 incl postage.
Ordered paid for delivery but still a bargain cheers OP

Yes, thanks. I saw that one first, and of course there's lots more bargain prices on larger sizes and types of rucksacks. Chose this one because imo it looked more substantial, and it provided dimensions, which I found helpful. You'd think that same capacity equals same size, but not my experience.
Do you not need to be a discount card holder @ £5 though?
Just went in and they said I needed to get a discount card for £5 to get the discounted price. Doesn’t say this anywhere in their website or confirmation email...

This question came up on a previous deal. There was no info on purchasing a discount card, and you can order without it. Imo can't see the store manager declining once it's already been shipped to them. I'd also argue lack of details/purchase power on their website. Having said that, there was no feedback on the deal from people saying there order was declined without it.
The lower price on the item on the website says "discount card price"
If you go to collect without one then they can obviously charge the retail price ( which is the non-discounted price on the website ).

Yes. They should make this clearer.
What happens if you order for delivery but don't have a discount card ?

You're right of course, but as I stated there was no link for buying one. Also, nobody commented on a previous post that they met with problems. I would strongly complain if they charged extra at collection. Good point about delivery, hardly think the delivery folk would ask for it.

Had you ordered then, and did they tell you how to acquire one? Simes made a good point about delivery. Me, I'm taking my chances and going for delivery, taking advantage of the extra discount to ease the pain of the charge. Tbh petrol & time to collect will, on balance, work out more for me.

I had reserved, there did not seem to be an option to pay online using click & collect. I think you should try delivery too. It was only a few minutes drive from my usual shopping area so no big deal, but wish they could be clearer in their ordering system.
I'm not getting a delivery option for some reason!?

Edit. Different rucksack. In store only

Thanks! I think so too, it's surprising how much you can fit in them.
Bargain price, and I should know 😁 I designed it for Go outdoors in 2017

Thanks, but be very lucky to get it, they don't allow you to claim if you've used a discount code.

Off the top of my head I think it cost about that much to make it. It was specced to compete against Quechua Arpenaz 10 from Decathlon.

Quite a fitting surname you have too. :D. Did you get to see the quality of the material in the end product ?

Yep, people make fun of me / my name all the time The last sample I saw was made from 300 X 300 denier polyester, same as the Decathlon bag

I'm impressed!
I c& c yesterday and when I went to collect they said they were that price if you had a discount card . I didnt but when I pointed out it never said that when I ordered , they gave me a free discount card and charged me £2.40 each .
Well done you! It's probably more trouble than it's worth to return them all back to stock. Thanks for letting us know.
Went to collect today and got asked for discount card. Wasn’t aware you needed one for ordering to get at that price as it didn’t seem obvious in the online ordering process so said I didn’t have one. She did acknowledge it was confusing on the website for new customers. Wouldn’t honour at that discount price and asked if I wanted to sign up for card for £5. Politely declined and cancelled the order as I didn’t want to pay and sign up for card that I wouldn’t normally get use out of.
