Thought I would post this on the site guys. Have bought my contact lens from this company for over a year now and think they are brilliant. Previous bought dailys from Asda which was about £10 a box of 28 lens. So really saving around 50%.

Really comfortable, easy to put in and rarly feel dried out.
Also UK based company in Glasgow, lens shipped from Jersey.

daysoft SILK
*daysoft SILK gives you enhanced comfort because SILK molecules can hold up to 1000 times their weight of water, keeping your eye moist and protected all day.
*daysoft SILK contains the eye`s natural lubricant, helping the eyelid glide over the lens for comfort on every blink.
*daysoft SILK combines the benefits of daysoft58 and daysoft72 in a single lens . . . at the same unbeatable price

Will work for some not for others.
Always be cautious with such products.
good of you to post a price increase .........

This is rrp now so not exactly a deal
The picture makes it look a bit like condoms.. if you see the picture first and think that and read the description it's really weird "Day soft daily-disposable"
Good deal tho, in comparison to others in the market.
I used these before I had my eyes lasered and I still buy them for my daughter. I have never found daily disposables for any cheaper than these and neither of us have had any serious problems with them. I once had a lens with a hole in and when I emailed them they sent me a whole pack of 32 to replace the one lens.
used them for years without any problems- had a missing box once and they replaced without question
I'm allergic to the solution they come in, but apart from that they were good.
New solution in them now Chalkysoil.

But this is normal price not a deal.
£10.48 for a months supply is not a deal,I pay slightly less from boots per month delivered, which very importantly includes aftercare at their opticians.
I use these everyday, most comfortable of all the lenses I've tried. If you put me in a dark room so I couldn't see anything anyway, I'd not know whether I had them in or not. Highly recommend them.

Even if others are slightly cheaper, I won't bother to try them.

Used them for over a year with no issues.
Sorry if this is off topic but to those of you that buy there lenses away from opticians do you still go in for aftercare appointments to check on eye health?, im currently with an optician on 2 weekly 's I go in every 3 months for a check up. I want to try and save some money but also dont want to muck up my eyes, any advise?. Thanks.

This also includes free 3 month contact lense checkups and yearly eye tests.

You save loads with DaySoft. I have been getting regular eye checks, have a proper prescription and have been using Daysoft for over 6 years now almost everyday, never had any problems. They work just as well, if not better, than all the leading brands and my opticians agrees that they are absolutely fine they just cannot compete with prices, infact when I have my checkups and they ask what contact lenses you use Daysoft are an option in their systems. You don't have to buy into any prescription when you have your sight checks just get them to check how you are doing and then take you prescription to Daysoft and order there.

Thanks for that, ill have a think, do you pay for your checkups? as I said because im on direct debit I get them free but if I wasn't it would cost me £16 every 3 months and £20 something for a yearly eye test!

i think these are the cheapest, nothing cheaper than these
If you use a computer at work, your employer normally pays for your eye tests I think. All mine have.
Damm im tempted now!, hate paying £22/month for 2 weekly and then when they run out I have to go to the opticions to pick them up, with these I could save money and have them delivered to my door!. Im going to ring my opticians and ask if I can do this and still keep eye check ups.
Excellent company - used them for a few years now, lenses arrive very quickly and on my first order i ordered lenses that weren't right for me and my husband, correct readings but felt dizzy reading stuff up close and rang them and they replaced the entire order for free, even though we'd actually used half of them (on 72's now). Can't rate them highly enough. We get our eyes tested at Boots when they do £5 eye test deals each year and you get a free contact lense check up as well!
These lenses simply can not be beaten there brilliant for the money been using them for yours ever since they started there founder has just been given a cbe from the queen too for his work

that's interesting. Does it say that on the site - I never knew the name of the solution I had just that it made my eyes sore. Which happened when they added an ingredient to my old solution ( One step?) only it took me months to figure out where the problem came from that time .
Looks Good
Whats the crack? I used to get soft lenses from Vision Express - Would I just put in my latest prescription???
Ring them, spoke to a lady today and maybe will be using them. Yes you put in current prescription and current type your on.
I thought this was normal price, £10.48 for 32 pairs?!

Thanks
Are these any good for astigmatism?

Not sure I like the sound of that.

I've been using daysoft lenses for years (daysoft52) and they're great but
Initially I tried daysoft72 and threw most of them away.

Anyone tried the new "SILK " lenses ?

Yes. The result: I can no longer buy Daysoft lenses. The new lenses gave me keratitis in my left eye Be careful with them. I guess I am allergic to the new material/solution. My case may be isolated but my friend said she found them way more uncomfortable than the old 58s.

Daysoft have however been very helpful - they got one of their in-house optometrists to contact me, who has sent me 3 months free supply of the old 58s until they get a solution resolved.

I've used 58's for years.. but now I've had to start using these new SILK ones for the past two months. Not noticed a difference.
this is really cheap....i ordered 3 month supply through specsavers which costs me 55quids and i thought this is the cheapest....

can anyone comment about the specsavers ones (CIBA focus daily comfort) and this one? and do they need your prescription in order to let you buy them?

I've tried all of them. The old 58's and 72's used to dry my eyes out pretty quickly. So given the price difference I used to use Daysoft for general wear and Accuvue for if I knew I had a long day.

The new Silk ones seem to be much better and I have noticed a big difference from the old.

But each to their own I think. YMMV
I had these 12 months ago (price still the same) but had to change as got trails from lights. Changed to boots monthly which cost £14 a month. Best lens decision I have ever made.
Wow these go to -12.50. That is seriously short sighted.
Might switch to these, cureently costs me £11 a month for monthlys and cleaning them after coming in from a night out is something I can rarely be bothered to do
Those are daily lenses, so after a day you thrown them away, more hygienic than any other type. Nothing is cheaper than that. I tried 58 and 72 before but they irritated my eyes quite quickly. New Silk ones are much better, can wear them whole day, no problem. Maybe not deal, but defo best price and many people don't know about them

agree, been using contacts for about 20 years - first used, and best, were acuvue but then became expensive - they were weekly ones - but then all the issues regarding d**s**ts wearing them for weeks or months and almost going blind

ben with specsavers for about 15 or so years - they were great until 2 years when they changed their current supplier, ciba, i think - wow they are terrible to the point i couldnt wear them and returned to the supplier they used 2 years ago - miles better - apparently they had lots of complaints!

so agree if i was buying online id stick with a reputable supplier and prob go for acuvue

I'm on Specsavers' cheapest dailies programme and buy these as a 'top up', not as cheap as just buying these but the aftercare angle is covered.
I don't know how they are still trading? They must of found a loophole to navigate around the GOC's legislation for selling of contact lenses to users without proof of a valid prescription. Before anyone has a go at me I HAVE bought contact lenses from these twice before and the customer service was top notch. The lenses weren't too bad either but I do much prefer my Proclears for clarity and comfort but that reflects in the price. Always get my eyes checked twice a year, I do like to save money but there are some things that I think you should shell the extra for as your eyes are sensitive organs.

Anyway rant over.
Anyone know a cheap place to buy toric lenses?
ive hand first hand use of these.....they r fine. But dont expect a full batch of useable contacts. I always get the odd one that is ripped or rips as soon as i touch it.
Brilliant contacts. Such a great price for what you get..

Thumbs up all day from me.
have been using these contacts for over a year now, was using proclear one day before, these are pretty much the exact same as them but for a very cheaper price
would definatly recommend
