This was certainly £126 yesterday and is £99 today.

I imagine it is due to the immenent release of the DC31. I know people have sourced this item for less from Asda but for those that haven't it is under a 100 quid here.

(Infact, just picked one up from a local Currys, using the pricematch + 10% of the difference discount). So you will be able to get one at £96 quid, should you have stock in a local Argos to match against).

Good luck!

Thanks for your post We've added the price and retailer to your title

This is only £74.95 at Amazon
amazon.co.uk/exe…OLE
and is in stock

Shame currys do not price match Amazon....

This is a terrible handheld vacuum, lots of noise but no suck (awaits the jokes), battery doesn't last long before needing a charge, the air vents are at the top rear and so always seem to blow in your face...

If anyone is thinking of buying one I'd strongly suggest you bought it from somewhere that it's easy to take back to when you see how poor it is.

Do you own a DC16 animal then? If you have a 'cheapy from Asda under a tenner' you do not strike me as the sort who would purchase a £130 handheld.

i had one and it was ok, but just not enough time before bettery runs out, my black and decker is better and 1/2 the price, was a good machine though so will certainly look at new model, cant vote hot though not with new model, but wont do what most do and vote cold

I have one of these and its absolute;y awesome. It has amazing suction power. I wonder if the person above has a faulty one? I was sceptical but now am converted - although 6 mins is not long if you leave it on constant charge, when you need to clean up a mess its always ready to go. Easy to clean and empty. Great product but not that great a price!

yet again iv got one and its brilliant i am buying a second. brill for car and caravan. top notch suction and good battery life for what jobs i use it for

Get the new version (opp sorry same vacuum) the DC30 for £10 more.

Lets ride the Dyson Gimic train....rolling..rolling..rolling..Dyson!!
Lets give them all the same vacuum,
and change the name of it,
No one will notice because there gullable,
and we will still sell sh*t loads,
and make load of marketing cash!

Is this site a little confused in its purpose?

An item is generally sold for £125 street price, a user posts a link to the item over 25% cheaper than the general street price, yet the thread descends into an appraisal of said item, a subjective review hub if you will.

I suppose a website dedicated to bargains will attract those that see anything outside of Lidl or Netto as overpriced and extravagent, whilst the rest of us buy, utilise and enjoy.

That's the benefit of having money, the ability to choose what one wants and experience what life has on offer, whenever we fancy it :-D

The cheapy asda one was for the cars and horse box but it soon replaced the dyson which was a spur of the moment purchase and to be honest I couldn't be arsed to take it back. Animal is now residing (along with the breadmaker and various other impulse buys) at the back of the cupboard!

As for 'the sort of person who would purchase a £130 handheld...cheeky muppet - you know nothing about me or mine so keep your jealousy filled comments to yourself ;-)
