Does this level of speed have any noticeable gains compared to 3000mhz RAM?

No, unless its Razen CPU. Most intels support only up to 2666Mhz (even 8th gen) but 9th gen may support higher.

Minor, and still, my 3466mhz kit is overclocked to 3866 with no timings or voltage change, its not worth the money to get this kit for example.

Not particularly, 3000 is about the sweet spot. You only really want faster RAM if your out of other things to upgrade. e.g. It would be better to spend the money on a better CPU / GPU etc.

Only buy this if you've got maxed out CPU and GPU otherwise i'd say go around 3600mhz
it's a good price y'all giving me flack cuz your systems aren't spec'd for this, not for the price discounted aka the deal D= if someones looking for ddr4 4500mhz or near it's a good deal, if not why are you even on this page in the first place.

Doesn't matter. Faster RAM will improve FPS despite memory controller spec. (unless other parts are too slow), it's been proved by many already (web/yt, search for it if you want). On overclocked i5 8600k it's around 10FPS difference between 2666MHz and 3000Mhz. Further on difference is not so big. I gained another 10FPS in Witcher Wild Hunt after getting 3666MHz on same config with same CL though. But price there is also price difference. Imho it's better to stay with 3000MHz below 200quid.

It depend on games. but it still can affect fps quite alot. For example 2632mhz vs 3169mhz ram on 6500k is 100fps vs 120fps on witcher 3. but spend that £150 on better GPU is way better than RAM.

Most high end gear gets down voted, just ignore it.

no they dont, thats just Intel's guaranteed speed

Intel have decent IMCs not like the Swiss cheese AMD use.

it is a must buy, you will be the envy of all your friends
This is cold for a couple of basic reasons: the amount of memory is not listed and non-one can understand what is "written" in the OP.

But you said why are you on this page!?! So people shouldn't discuss why RAM this speed is generally considered by most of the gaming/overclocking community as overpriced and unnecessary?

If I knew nothing about the gaming scene and just saw a big price drop on some ram with big numbers I may be duped into buying. If I came in here I'd be thankful I did so I could read the comments saying that there is little to be gained spending over the odds for ram, even if it was a deal.

I don't think you understand the point of this website. Dont take it so personal

I wouldn't see it as being duped. Also this should last long into the future while ddr4 3000-3600 isn't as future proofed. Not only that but i doubt a new comer is going to look at spending this much money on components they can clearly see they can get for well cheaper. And if they're going to spend this kind of money you'd expect them to look into it before purchasing, there are plenty of forums and videos on the topic.
On the other hand yes, i do also get where you are coming from, the comments may help someone who has no idea what they're doing understand what they're looking at and why they may not want to buy it even thought there's a big price reduction.
do it properly and go the who hog. its only £170 extra for a whopping 100mhz increase

Is this a full pc or just the RAM?
